Summary: My overall experience with SmartVault has been great. I have not encountered any real problems and the ease of use and help center makes it easy to answer any questions I may have.

Positive: I love being able to share & store sensitive documents for clients. This product has helped to obtain documents quickly without having to be mailed and without the fear of documents being sent to the wrong person.

Negative: The only item I dislike about SmartVault is re-sending activation links to new guest users. If a user loses the activation link, because they did not complete it right away or they lost it, there is no way to send a new link. We have to delete the user and recreate to send a new link. This is not a big issue and does not hinder my view of the software, I just hope this will be an update in the future.

Summary: I have used this application for more than 4 years with excellent results. Great customer service when something went wrong and easy to use.

Positive: It is a very simple tool to save all documents, organized and capable of sharing with colleagues and always available online.

Negative: So far I have no negative comments on the uses that I give to this application.

Summary: Really good experience, easy to use, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a software which is good for working from home.

Positive: Easy to use, can save anything from wherever i am, as long as i am logged in. Really useful for working at home.

Negative: There wasn't much i didn't like, it would sometimes freeze.

Summary: Overall we are happy with SmartVault and we continue to use the product daily. We would happily recommend this software.

Positive: Great user interface. Easy to use. Allows us to move, edit and store documents as and when required. The folder layouts are also very helpful.

Negative: We are awaiting an integration with our accounting software.

Negative: Still learning how to use without ProSeries. I need to watch more of the Videos so I know how to send Clients files they can download in to.

Summary: Overall, I like SmartVault. I just REALLY wish that there was that email notification when a client uploads a document to me.

Positive: I like it that it's easy for me to share docs with my clients and that there is a DocuSign feature included when I need it. I also think that having SmartVault on my website helps in obtaining new clients.

Negative: I wish there was a better way for me to be notified (perhaps via email) when a client uploads a document. Otherwise, I just have to check every once in a while and with me being very busy, having to stop working to check is cumbersome.

Summary: We love SmartVault! It has made sharing documents and data with our team and clients easy and secure. We love that we can access our documents from anywhere in the world!

Positive: We rely heavily on teamwork and SmartVault makes it possible. With COVID restrictions and suddenly having to work exclusively online, our team did not flinch because we were using SmartVault!

Negative: Sometimes certain areas take a bit to load. Some clients don't like having to have another password to something,

Summary: Safe software to keep important files and documents in. You can share folders with clients and save time rather than doing the same thing on each end. There are many features to it.

Positive: It is great for important document storage. Easy to function, manage documents and share with clients as well.

Negative: So far so good, there are no cons from my personal experience.

Summary: Easy to use for both firm and clients. Secure way to transfer paperwork and confidential information. Reduces the turnaround time not having to wait for mailed paper documents.

Positive: Ease of use, cost-effective, client confidence in secure transfer and storage of private tax and financial paperwork.

Negative: I like everything about SmartVault! It has easy to use features and is very secure. It has saved our firm time and money and eliminated the paper mailing of information.

Summary: Overall I recommend SmartVault, totally secure, easy for clients to get what they need or to drop off files.

Positive: Great Security, easy to use and completely secure. Clients have no problem retrieving their documents.

Negative: Takes too long to load, can be frustrating. Maybe this could be addressed.

Summary: Will keep using this product for years to come. The integration with ProSeries tax software is excellent.

Positive: Makes storing cloud copies of tax returns and source documents a snap. Also allows for easy file sharing to/from clients. The integration with DocuSign makes getting signatures simple as well.

Negative: Wish that it had a Droid app, I use the Apple version which works great, but would like the same experience with my Droid devices.

Summary: I have been using SmartVault for over 5 years, when I first started with SmartVault it was because Intuit decided to no longer offer Document Management System and they partnered with SmartVault, you could say I grew up with SmartVault, over the years they have added additional features to enhance and not only allow me to be paperless but now automated too.

Positive: Love the integration with my tax software, ProSeries and also DocUSign which I depend on immensely. With the Pandemic and having to social distance this ability allowed me to continue to work and stay in business. Also I can access my Vault anywhere including my phone so it makes it easy to retrieve information

Negative: Some of the functions are difficult and not intuitive to use or set up

Summary: Overall, its a great document management system, it integrates with Lacerte well and it has helped our efficiency.

Positive: Easy to use, easy for clients to set up and upload documents. Has helped our company go paperless and its been great.

Negative: Can be a little slow at times, the folder system could be a little easier to navigate. Setting up new folders is troublesome as is hiding no longer active clients.

Summary: Overall, I am glad I found them. I am at ease for the security of the confidential information with the fee I can afford.

Positive: Affordability and security. I was at first concerned about it I can afford it as a sole practitioner since the fees of others scared me, I was glad I found SmartVault with the fee I can afford with the security I need.

Negative: The tech support might be too busy to respond to my request to assist my clients immediately.
