Summary: With SmartVault I never have to worry about where my documents are for all of my clients. I know they are secure and accessible at all times no matter what computer I have access to.

Positive: I love SmartVault for the unlimited storage capacity and ease of use. I am easily able to collaborate and share files and sensitive documents with colleagues and clients alike with different permissions. I love being able to access my documents from any computer, anywhere, anytime. I feel like care about me as a consumer and try and be as helpful as possible.

Negative: Learning SmartVault was a bit difficult in the beginning but the company provides plenty of training and hundreds of videos.

Summary: If you are currently using paper based filing systems and are looking to move to a paperless environment then you SmartVault could easily be the solution you need.

Positive: Superb solution for all practice document management, in particular the client portal and auto-generation of folder structures when onboarding clients.

Negative: Nothing has proved to be disappointing thus far, everything functions well.

Summary: We needed a central place to securely store documents that our clients could also access (in a permissioned fashion) and SmartVault was that solution. It's elegant, simple, reliable, and it gets the job done!

Positive: The functionality is great, the workflows save time, the clients love it, and the DocuSign integration is perfect.

Negative: The web UI does take some time to get used too. But most of the time we use the desktop UI.

Summary: Overall, its easy to use and navigate through! Again like I mentioned its interface is both easy to use by older and younger staff and we love that we can change the dashboard to a different view!

Positive: SV is super user friendly, we have a lot of diversity at our office from older to younger employees and its interface makes it easier on all of us to be on the same page.

Negative: The feature that allowed us to see which client had SV access is gone and I couldn't seem to figure out why! now we have no idea which of our current clients have access to their files.

Summary: Overall, I love this software. Whenever I have any issues I can rely on their customer service chats to help me out.

Positive: I like how easy it is to use such as using it with other products and how easy it is for my clients to use. Very simple and straightforward, I can always find what I'm looking for.

Negative: I didn't like how in one of the previous updates it removed some of the engagements I could use such as Accounting Services. I am only allowed to use the Tax engagement now which is not the only type of engagement I need.

Summary: Happy with portal. Accessible from any where. Great responsive customer service. Chat and email support are excellent.

Positive: Connected Desktop Features. Many years ago we switched from FileCabinet CS. Happy with portal. Accessible from anywhere.

Negative: Cannot open multiple clients in Portal but can in Connected desktop.

Summary: Integration works seamlessly with business software.

Positive: Simple and effective to get the job done for clients and myself.

Negative: A bit laggy, and would like a setting to remember user preferences when collapsing and expanding folders.

Summary: Yes very good, we like it. It is a useful tool we should have used a long time ago. Time saver in sharing files with clients.

Positive: Everything in one place. Comprehensive. The training videos are very good and accessible. We can check the progress of our staff with their training.

Negative: Overcrowded on the desktop version, too simplified on the online version.

Summary: We are very happy with SmartVault. Security is very important as is ease of use. It is also great that it integrates into our Lacerte software.

Positive: SmartVault allows me to share tax and other sensitive documents with my clients securely. I love that it provides storage for me and allows me to give access to my clients. It eliminates the phone calls requesting new tax copies when my clients can access their client copy returns at their convenience.

Negative: We had some difficulty with initial set-up. Getting databases brought in was time consuming.

Summary: Overall I highly recommend this product! We use it for our bookkeeping, payroll, investment, and tax clients.

Positive: I love that you can share things in a secure and truly easy manner. We use this with clients across many aspects of our business. We can not email sensitive documents so it is perfect for us!

Negative: I do not like the fact that I could not drop a document into all clients at one time.

Summary: Overall, I'm glad we have this product to save digital copies of completed tax returns & other financial reports. It's simple for our staff to use & our clients seem to like it as well. I expect it will be a permanent "client portal" solution for our firm.

Positive: SmartVault allows us to print digital copies of tax returns (both firm & client copies) to our "client portal". The returns are viewable by our firm & also my our clients. The desktop app is easy to use & customer service is top notch!

Negative: The website app is not as user-friendly as the desktop app, in my opinion.

Summary: This product is great. It has helped cut down on our paper and the ease of use is great. Going to be a big hit especially when we are working towards a more virtual system.

Positive: Smartvault has allowed my office to move from the traditional filing cabinets to an online storage, which saves me space, time & less paper.

Negative: I still trying to get use to the new website version.

Summary: Within two to three days of getting SmartVault and setting it up, I knew I would not be without it again. This software has significantly reduced my stress levels on the job and increased my work capacity.

Positive: Allows me to keep all client statements, reports, and documents in good order, with everything easy and quick to access. It's on the cloud, so I don't have to worry about losing all those documents due to a hard drive problem. Last but not least, clients don't have to email me documents, they can upload them directly, which is much more secure. SmartVault makes my solo bookkeeping practice look very pro!

Negative: Getting some jobs done is a little cumbersome because it's necessary to switch views within the platform.

Summary: I have had the best service from start to finish and there was never a hiccup when I switched from my previous employer to my current employer.

Positive: I love the fact that my clients can view their financials securely without me having to send them by email where there could be a security breach.

Negative: There is nothing bad to say about this product or the customer service.

Summary: Our firm has used SmartVault for a few years and are very satisfied with the product and additional value given to our clients.

Positive: Very easy for our clients to use, offers them a one stop shop to view current and prior year tax returns and documents.

Negative: I haven't encountered any issues using SmartVault so far.
