ShipLog is a cloud-based tool designed for gathering customer feedback and facilitating release communications, specifically aimed at individual SaaS entrepreneurs and small product development teams. It features a public feedback board where users can propose enhancements and cast votes, complete with status filtering options and optional moderation capabilities. Teams are able to create a public changelog using Markdown, categorize updates, and provide an RSS feed, all while keeping users informed by updating the statuses of requests as they are completed. An embeddable JavaScript widget allows users to submit their feedback or view updates directly within an application, and the option for verified-user voting links feedback submissions to authenticated users. Additionally, ShipLog offers a REST API and a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that compatible AI clients can utilize to search through and summarize feedback, adjust item statuses, and create or release changelog updates. The platform includes a free plan that accommodates up to 10 feedback items and 10 changelog entries, while the premium plan eliminates these limits and removes branding for projects requiring additional features.
