Sessionplan Description
Sessionplan is an accessible, web-based platform designed for crafting visual agendas, making it perfect for a variety of gatherings such as workshops, training sessions, meetings, and events.
It allows users to organize their sessions as an interactive timeline featuring various blocks like Input, Exercise, Discussion, and Break, with automatic calculations for start and end times when a starting point is set. Users can easily rearrange blocks through a drag-and-drop interface, and all timestamps will adjust in real-time.
Additionally, it provides the capability to group similar blocks, organize parallel breakout sessions, and save elements in a personal library, while recurring formats can be saved as templates for future use. Agendas can be shared through a link or exported as a JSON file for convenience.
There’s no need for an account, and since it operates locally without cloud storage, users can enjoy an ad-free experience with all data remaining secure in their browser. It’s available for free indefinitely and can even function offline after the initial loading.
This tool is especially beneficial for trainers, coaches, facilitators, Scrum Masters, and educators who seek to develop their agendas in a straightforward and efficient manner, enhancing the clarity and organization of their sessions.

Made my workshop planning a lot easier (and is free) Date: May 10 2026
Summary: I stumbled across Sessionplan when I was looking for a free alternative to SessionLab and honestly haven't looked back. It does exactly what it promises, helps you build a clean, visual agenda without any of the usual SaaS nonsense like forced accounts or paywalled features.
I use it for workshops and training sessions regularly now. It's not the fanciest tool out there, but it's simple, reliable, and free. That's really all I needed.Positive: - Drag and drop is super smooth, times update automatically which saves a lot of headache
- No sign-up needed, you just open it and start
- Completely free, no "upgrade to Pro" popups or anything like that
- Love that everything stays in my browser. Apparently no data going anywhere
- Sharing via link is really handy when you need to send the agenda to a clientNegative: Not much tbh. Had a small scare when I cleared my browser cache and lost a plan.. definitely use the dynamic link or export your JSON regularly.

Also I would love to try the collaboration feature with a co-facilitator in real time.
