    Summary: Good. Sadly there is one missing feature that is crucial to me that I can only get on ABBYY PDF software or I would only use Soda since I find ABBYY not easy to use. But I require an OCR reader that will read Hebrew and allow me to copy Hebrew into other documents without turning it to something strange. If you ever got this fixed, I would definitely be a totally loyal fan.

    Positive: I much prefer Soda for its ease of use and great features. Customer support has been pretty good so far.

    Great Software Poor Customer Service

    Summary: Good software. It does what I want it to do. Do not use auto renew. You need to decide for yourself if you want to continue with a new software subscription.

    Positive: Everything about this software package is very good; however, purchase the software and you will have to purchase add ons for things like adjusting page size.

    Negative: Very poor customer service. If I was not thrilled with the software, I would not purchase it due to poor customer service.

    Soda PDF 9 Pro

    Summary: Soda constantly switches me away from my perpetual license PDF 9 Pro. I have to constantly direct the software not to direct me to the Soda website to their subscription offers.

    Positive: Wonderful PDF editor with capabilities to scan and convert files. Purchased with a perpetual license in 2017.

    Negative: Soda no longer provides software like PDF 9 Pro because they would prefer that consumers subscribe to their services for a monthly fee. Unfortunately that's why I can only give you 3 stars. Needles to say I'm also giving you a poor mark for recommending your product since PDF 9 Pro is no longer available.

    Not happy with the format

    Summary: Not happy with this app and requested cancellation and refund. Not really satisfied with the app, a little less than i had hoped for.

    Positive: Price was okay but you get what you pay for plus there were some things added that i didn't want and didn't realize until i paid.

    Great but keeps getting more expensive

    Summary: Worth the buy on a discount, as a loyal customer for years with different accounts I can't help but feel like they are going to profits rather than customer satisfaction.

    Positive: I love SODA PDF when it's on discount. It allows me to quickly and easily merge, split, extract, comment, highlight and redact documents.

    Problems with Soda PDF

    Summary: Since the issue of Soda PDF 12 my experience is negative one. Just today I have spent more that one hour for the trouble shooting. I paid money and cannot use the normal scanning the second month.

    Positive: Features for the files editing. Manage the scanning (when it was in one version). Now I need to use the version 11 additionally.

    Negative: The second month my Soda PDF 12 has not seeing the scanner.
    I had also problems with the signing up the purchased Soda PDF PRO 360.

    Too many overlapping products and sometimes freezes up and has to close

    Summary: When I chatted with Molly, she was very helpful in answering my questions, checking my account, telling me that I was paying for 2 licenses which it not shown in the account profile or in the renewal details.
    She got it straightened out and even issued me a refund.

    Positive: I like that you can password protect the documents.
    It converts pretty quickly.
    After figuring out the "merge" feature it made it easier.

    Negative: Has a tendency to freeze and needs to be closed.
    Constantly asking to be upgraded.
    No link to update software at renewal.
    Different names for the same product so you don't know what you end up with.

    Positive: I found that "forms" could be created and added to documents. Having the ability to add, split, and extract pdf files is very handy.

    Negative: The user interface in Ver 12 is not as user friendly as Ver 11, I do not see much of an advantage in Ver 12 over Ver 11.

    Positive: Answers. I really can't think of anything to add as I've been encountering the same issue for 3 days not.

    Generally OK, but some key features are missing and issues with services at times

    Summary: Overall an OK PDF program that has a lot of room for improvements. In particular the implementation of the 'append document' option and the improvement of server reliability.
    The support quality varies. I had two agent that seem to have big knowledge gaps and I also had Ginger (twice) now, who is polite, swift and has a good knowledge. So if you get him (or her?) you'll be in good hands.

    Positive: Good PDF generator. Works in a simple fashion. They offer the free, Pro and Business Version. I have the Pro version. Works for me on most days. BUT... (continue reading in the "Con" section.

    Negative: ... one of the features I use very often in Adobe is the 'append document' function, which allows to append additional pages by clicking on a link in the PDF. Soda PDF does not offer that option.
    Today, I tried to sanitise a document, and only got the pop-up 'buy the business version'. Now, I confirmed with support that the sanitise option is included in the pro version but currently not available due to server issues.
    Also, their advertising pop-up are very annoying. Contacted support and they just sent me a weblink with instructions I told them I had already tried. Eventually found a solution myself, very different from what support recommended, and the solution is actually simple but not described in their documentation.
