SIMetrix/SIMPLIS Description
It is a full-featured, accurate design environment that combines speed and accuracy. It can simulate power supply designs 10-50x faster than SPICE. SIMetrix Classic has all the features and uses the same GUI, including its hierarchical diagram editor and waveform view. Locates the steady-state operating point of a switch system without having the transient startup conditions simulated. Conversion of SPICE transistors and diodes to SIMPLIS format. Converts SPICE by running a SPICE Simulation to extract parameters. The advanced digital library includes a variety of digital functions, such as counters ADCs DACs.
