TopSpice Description
TopSpice is a true analog/digital/behavioral mixed-mode circuit simulator for the PC. It is the most advanced SPICE simulation in its price range. It also offers compatibility, an integrated design environment that is easy to use, from schematic capture to graphic waveform analysis. TopSpice allows you to design using either text netlists (SPICE) or schematic drawings. All design and simulation features are available in either the schematic editor or netlist editor. TopSpice comes with a full-featured mixed mode mixed-signal simulator that can simulate circuits containing any combination of analog devices and digital functions, as well as high-level behavioral block. TopSpice allows you to verify and optimize the design of your system down to the transistor.

TINA's extensive post-processing capabilities allow you to format the results in any way you like. Virtual instruments let you select input waveforms, and probe circuit nodes voltages and waveforms. TINA's Schematic Capture is a quick and easy way to get started. TINA-TI requires around 500MB. It is easy to install and can be uninstalled if desired. We bet you won't. TINA is a Texas Instruments-exclusive product from DesignSoft. This complimentary version is fully-functional but does not include some of the features that are available in the full version.

This gives a great insight into the operation of the circuit. The real-time simulation engine was custom-built to be fast and interactive. Simulate everything from simple logic gates and resistors to complex transistor-level designs and mixed-signal circuits with just one click. You can adjust potentiometers and LED current-limiting resistors while the simulation is running. Your changes will be reflected in real-time. The mini-waveforms that appear on top of the schematic wires are different for digital and analogue signals. Digital wires are color coded, while constant analog voltages are shown in numbers. In the XY mode, any pair of time domain signals can be plotted. The grid ticks and oscilloscope scale are automatically updated to convenient values when the data changes.
