We offer a special package for retailers to measure performance on traffic, including conversion rate and service levels. Our direct integrations make it easy to combine POS data with staff data. The Retail Equation simulator lets users run simulations to improve sales. It can also be used as a learning tool to understand how traffic, staffing, conversion rates, and quality service relate.

Summary: Everything has been great thus far. We've been up and running at our location for 6+ months with no interruption to services with the device. Once you're online and running you are good to go!
Positive: Very easy to setup and get online. Great people and support to work with. We worked with the sales and support team so they could better understand our business need. From there, they recommended The 3D SCOPE II LC AI-Powered People Counter and it fit perfectly with what we were trying to do. We quickly received the product and their onboarding team helped us set up the device quickly to begin monitoring our traffic flows.
Negative: Right now I don't have much to complain about it. This device has been meeting our business needs.

Super, easy product Date: Feb 29 2024
Summary: I really like this product and the customer support that SMS Storetraffic gives to us. They devices are simple, and the reports are super.
Positive: I like the software automatically sending me reports on the counts as well as telling me when there's an outage of some kind. The reports are gold.
Negative: It take a bit of muscle to get the individual units out and back in their holders when changing batteries. It's difficult, but the trade off is they're secure.

Summary: The system is user friendly, and you can easily setup any report you would like to see on the information provided. It's a great door counter system!
Positive: First, the customer service is very supportive. Anytime I have a question, they are quick to respond and help. They are proactive and setup training sessions with me to help me learn and navigate the system better.
Negative: I do not have any cons to list for this door counter system.

Summary: What was most helpful to me was the onboarding training provided with the tool. The training was geared to our application and saved us countless hours in getting up to speed using the tool.
Positive: I have found SMS Store traffic to be a game changer in the information it can provide to help make critical business decisions such as proper store staffing, how weather impacts store traffic, and the impact of marketing campaigns on store traffic.
Negative: Lost of data and it will take time understand all of it but we are starting with a few measurements and will build upon it as we understand more about this tool.

Summary: Will be an integral part of our strategy to grow our business. Having these metrics to refer back will be incredibly valuable and I love having so much data, down to the weather each day to help make staffing decisions and guide my coaching to my retail team.
Positive: - Having an initial training and then a follow up a month or so later was really helpful because I could make a list of questions that came up as I was utilizing the TMAS software
- The "?" on each report leading to a help section article on that report was really helpful as I was learning, as well as having a chat available for anything I was unable to locate in the help section
-Being able to schedule reports to send automatically is really nice and saves time weekly
- Utilizing these reports has been extremely helpful to identify training opportunities within our staff and make staffing decisions based on traffic trends
-As a smaller business that doesn't need to utilize all the reports being able to hide unnecessary ones makes it much easier to navigate to the most used reportsNegative: - As a small business with only 4 locations, I'd love a more streamlined report that graphs all four stores performances together on a bar graph or pie graph (depending on the metric) to give an "at a glance" view of month end or quarter end performance of stores compared to each other. So it could be similar to the four graphs report but shows all four stores sales in one pie graph showing which has the highest percentage, show each store's % sold in another, etc. So its a quick easy to navigate over view, easier to picture than a list of numbers in a table at month end to try and compare.

- More integration with scheduling software. I manually enter staffing daily so being able to have that auto populate based on our timesheets would be great and save me some time. Summary: Our overall experience has been excellent. SMS is diligent and efficient in customer service and support and I would recommend them as a traffic counting solution to any business looking to accurately track entries and exits.
Positive: - Two different traffic counter solutions depending on the need at the location you need to install it in, camera based and light beam. This allows great flexibility and scalability of the platform as a solution.
- More importantly, the support in initial setup of the hardware is great.
Hardware setup instructions are well documented and easily searchable on the SMS support site. If you do have issues, their support team is knowledgeable and incredibly responsive in the online chat on their support site. Even before we purchased the platform, their technical support team patiently answered my questions regarding the setup and implementation needs so I could understand the platform better before committing to buy. After purchase I have experienced the same level of support. The hardware ordered from their site ships in a timely manner, often the same day it's ordered. As we have added devices in our environment, SMS has helped with initial setup and calibration as well as monitoring for anomalies after install. Any time I have had a question it has been answered quickly and professionally. The partnership we have seen from them is among the best we have experienced in a third party provider. The reporting platform is robust and their API makes it easy to integrate into your BI tool of choice.Negative: I have found very few cons when working with the team at SMS. The TMAS platform while robust is not the most intuitive, however, the onboarding training and ongoing readily available support offsets any challenges for us.

Summary: SMS Store Traffic made me feel like more than just a customer. Their customer success team made sure that I fully understood the system, and they also asked for details about my business so that I could use our laser counter & the reporting to its fullest.
Positive: Easy installation. Fantastic reporting! Customer success was stupendous!!! All my questions were answered immediately. The cost of the Pearl Counter was very affordable for what it provides, and the TMAS software was extremely affordable too.
Negative: The software has a slight learning curve, but their customer success team really went above and beyond during the 2 onboarding training sessions to help me understand the system.

Summary: I'm very pleased we have chosen to utilize SMS Storetraffic as our traffic counting solution, it is robust and well designed.
Positive: The SMS software is very robust, allowing for POS integration and the importing of staff hours. This allows for a detailed analysis of key metrics related to foot traffic, sales conversions, and staff-to-customer ratios. Traffic can be viewed by device and real-time data is a plus. Support was very knowledgeable and willing to customize based on the needs of our stores. A REST API, mobile app, and automated reporting are also available.
Negative: The TMAS interface took some getting used to at first, but after using it for a little while it is more intuitive to navigate.

Summary: Overall we rely on SMS Storetraffic for its quality product and great customer service. We invested in this new system several years ago and it has been terrific for us ever since.
Positive: This is a very good product for our use inside our Shopping Centre. We get accurate traffic results that we are able to share with our Owners, Investors and our tenants. We have also received very good service during our time using SMS Storetraffic. We receive punctual response to any product issues or concerns we may have which is vital to our business.
Negative: We do not have any issues or concerns with either the service or the product. We are now using a 2nd generation product, with our first traffic system lasting many years.

Summary: Overall it's been fantastic. Dependable product with a user-friendly dashboard and helpful, available, friendly support team. All of this helps us get the most value for the dollars we pay out of this service and its products.
Positive: The support team, specifically Sayantani, has been absolutely fantastic. As we wanted to learn more about available analytics and upskill our team, she was incredibly helpful time after time. Additionally, when we needed to update our camera settings and needed to audit its operations, the SMS team was very helpful to us. As we grow, we'll definitely stay with them as our partners.
Negative: No cons to report. When we had any problems the team helped us audit and update our hardware. When we needed education on the system to get the most use out of it, they were there to help us with multiple trainings. Sayantani has been a great trainer and representative.

Summary: The store traffic counter has been an excellent addition to the data gathering for me this year. It is nice to be able to get store traffic trends in a matter of minutes.
Positive: Accurate fast counts on traffic really adds to the ability to schedule labor accordingly. SMS did an excellent job helping to set up the system and get it online.
Negative: Reports are a little quirky to get scheduled but overall work well.

Summary: It depends on the need of the company is they only want to count the clients or the % or the transactions.
Positive: The support team is eager to assist you is needed. The cameras are pretty accurate also the pictures are very clear.
