Summary: Megan and the help desk's support made this a smooth transition for a complex system. The one recommendation I have is to have hands-on assistance with setting up the hardware.
Positive: This lady right here knows her stuff and walked us through every step of the way. She is amazing. Highly recommend her
Negative: Few glitches in Roller along the way. Unable to delete individual stock items without deleting the entire section.

Summary: I think it is a good system, but definitely has some areas that it could improve on, it is a good system for a busy environment with lots of customers.
Positive: From a managing standpoint, the Roller POS system runs very smoothly and efficiently compared to past systems I have used. Everything is clearly laid out, easy to learn, and makes some of the management processes a lot faster. From scheduling complicated bookings to checking them out, the process is simple. I am able to find memberships, and customers, and even reprint old receipts.
Negative: One of the main things I don't like about the system is how it is set up with memberships at my current workplace. We at times have multiple members within the same family checking in at a time, but because of the system, I can only check in one booking holder at a time. With Families with complicated last names, I often have to ask multiple times how to spell the name of each kid, which can get frustrating for families with 3-5 kids. I can tell that the parents get slightly annoyed as I continually ask. At times this feature can make checking in members slow than checking in those without a membership.

Summary: Great software and I would recommend it to anyone who needs an upgrade from their current software service.
Positive: The thing that I have loved the most about Roller is that everything is at the touch of a button. From booking parties as well as making purchases from the front desk we can access all of it and keep organized as well.
Negative: What I didn't like is that there is a learning process because of how detailed Roller is but despite that, once you get ahold of it you can see how beneficial this software can be.

Summary: Great support on setup and help in answering questions along the way. Definitely needed the setup support.
Positive: Comprehensive features and fairly easy to learn with a slight learning curve. Very reliable software and simple connectivity with payment processing.
Negative: User interface could use some improvements on both the customer-facing side and business management side to make it more intuitive to use. The learning curve exists to navigate all the menus and labels. Also the ability to view the account on a mobile device is almost impossible. Need a native app or better mobile web support to do tasks, which are often on the go.

Summary: I would recommend Roller to a friend and be able to successfully help them get everything situated to properly integrate Roller into their facility! I do not plan to move away from Roller!
Positive: I enjoy being able to easily track events, memberships, capacity, revenue, and reports all in one software! Once you are familiar with the software, using it daily is very efficient!
Negative: I believe that there are some features that should be developed already that are very useful that do not seem to be developed.

Summary: Very flexible and the updates are very welcome (when they work properly) and it makes life easier working at the trampoline parks I've worked at with this system.
Positive: It is very easy for training and easy to pick up. The back end is easily one of the highlights when it comes to using Roller. Fixes roll out very quickly, but support can be tedious to work with.
Negative: Customer Support does not understand their own system and constantly says to "clear the cache" which has become a running joke any time we have an issue with Roller.

Summary: Overall experience with Roller is good. The only con I have is not being able to take payment over the phone.
Positive: Roller makes it easy to build bookings and send out emails to our customers!
I enjoy the fact customers are able to review through roller rather than going to google or an outsource for their reviews.Negative: A con for roller at the moment is not being able to take payment over the phone.

Rigid and riddled with Bugs Date: Aug 29 2024
Summary: Probably one of the biggest regrets within our business has been switching to Roller.
It was sold to be a more flexible and capable booking processor to our previous system, but has proven itself to be a disappointment all the way.Positive: The ability to have a POS and self service Kiosks. The opportunity for upsells.
Low card processing costs.Negative: Lots of bugs.

Constant issues with blocked of capacity appearing in different times and places than that they were applied for. Roller support has witnessed but a fix has not been forthcoming for months.
Inadequate flexibility for slots for events. Custom bookings for corporates requiring alternative timings is a logistical fight and no easy way exists to do so.
As an escape room company, the control of staff assigned to bookings is wholly inadequate. Pur scheduling managers lose days every week just upkeeping the system to prevent roller from selling slots we can't staff.
Reporting too rigid, allowing only for preset reports of which none suit my needs.
Booking overviews always require clicking into to see basic information.
Support generally unhelpful and no resolutions.
Functionality is limited.
