Does the job well, but keynote is better for design Date: Jun 19 2022
Summary: PowerPoint is basically the industry standard, so if you're making presentations for other partners and need to plug and play into their templates, may as well make powerpoint your go to... otherwise you'll be wasting time with cleaning up the formatting for a converted file.
Positive: PowerPoint has incrementally improved over the years, and has more features than I have time or patience to explore...it gets the job done well.
Negative: Images aren't as easy to work with in PowerPoint as they are in keynote. Design in general in keynote seems to have a better 'feel'.
