Bring interoperability and scale with cutting-edge Zero-Knowledge Proof Systems. zkBridge utilizes zkSNARKs in order to allow a prover convince the receiver chain of a state transition that occurred on the sender's chain. zkBridge is composed of a blockhead relay network and an updating contract. The block header relay networks retrieves block headers from sender chains, generates proofs for the validity of block headers and sends them along with the proofs (set up on receiver chains) to the updater contracts. The updater contract keeps a light client state. It adds block headers to the sender's chain automatically once the associated proofs have been verified and updates the main chain of the senter's chain. Polyhedra Network implements infrastructures to ensure interoperability between heterogeneous systems, while ensuring strong security without additional trust assumptions.
