Nomad is a security-first, cross-chain messaging protocol. It leverages an optimistic mechanism and only one honest actor is required to keep the whole system safe. Nomad makes it possible for off-chain watchers, such as validators or custodians, to challenge messages using fraud proofs. Nomad allows for a 10x reduction in gas fees compared to traditional header relay systems while remaining decentralized.
