Nomad Description

Nomad is a security-first, cross-chain messaging protocol. It leverages an optimistic mechanism and only one honest actor is required to keep the whole system safe. Nomad makes it possible for off-chain watchers, such as validators or custodians, to challenge messages using fraud proofs. Nomad allows for a 10x reduction in gas fees compared to traditional header relay systems while remaining decentralized. Nomad smart contracts can quickly be deployed on any smart contract chain, without the need for any custom logic. Nomad's generalized message-passing channels allow developers to pass arbitrary data among chains and invoke smart contract functions within chains.
