PDF Architect Reviews

Summary: We use this program daily and overall it works fine. It would be nice if the program would function well all the time.

Positive: In general the program works fine and it is a user friendly program. It has extensive options. You can extend it with modules such as secure and sign, which now also has new features.

Negative: Every year some functionalities suddenly become unavailable. Then we need to contact support to resolve the issue. This happens too often and not at the time of a contract extension.

Summary: I'm happy with PDF Architect. It's easy to use. It has all the functionalities I need and more. Recently, I had a question and the support was super fast, effective and friendly.

Positive: I use PDF Architect to add fields to my pdf's, so people can fill them in and send them back. And I can let people add there signature.

Negative: I'm hoping for an upgrade that the program would detect a table and changes it into a form automatically in 1 action. Now I have to add each field by myself and that takes quite some time.

Summary: Very good. Compared to other similar programs PDF Architect is the best. For a short time I also used Adobe acrobat paid, but there is no comparison with PDF Architect which is No.1

Positive: Working with a music notation software I can print my work directly in pdf with PDF Architect, and also for me, since it is orchestral scores, I can join all the individual instruments and print them with a single pdf file. I can preview the movements of the score, etc. Really great

Negative: I don't know, maybe because I was used to PDF Architect 4 and it was all simple and fast, now I still have to try it out thoroughly to give a correct evaluation, but at first glance I think it's perfect

Summary: A good tool, a good price... It saved me from spending plenty of money and gave me Just what I needed and a little bit more.

Positive: Mainly, the price... I needed a solution to creating and manipulating PDF files spending the less possible, and I found it in this product.

Negative: I liked more The original distribution of menu, sometimes it took me several minutes to find the way to do something.

Summary: I would happily recommend it to everyone as it is overall a great all-purpose product. Only drawback currently is the non-availability of a life-time purchase option, which would increase its users manifold.

Positive: Prompt Service and Helpful Agents. It is always a pleasure to share the problem, and to expect the solution within minutes.

Negative: Have to go via Portal rather than a simple email, like before.

Summary: Product works well, but beware of unwanted add-ons when placing order. Chat is open M-F--watch time, it is calculated for London!

Positive: Finally was able to access chat to confirm my unwanted software was cancelled.

Negative: Website adds upgrades that must be deleted before paying. I wanted the $29.95 Standard Plan--accidentally added upgrades for total of $64.80. Took 2+ hours to finally resolve the issue

Summary: Well pleased for the investment. Many programs cost significantly more, provide less support and perform no better.

Positive: This program does the same job for me for much less than other programs! The technical assistance is fast and thorough! Well pleased.

Negative: It's not free but really nothing else that I can think of.

Summary: I am happy with the new version 9 and i am finding it better for me to use. As with anything new it will take me awhile to become fluent with using the program

Positive: I am a retired person who does not use all the aspects of the program, which probably makes me not the best person to evaluate the program. I have in the past found the program a little hard to navigate, however with continued use and with the program updates I am finding things better. The support line are always quick to return with answers which I find most Helpful

Negative: As I said I am not a frequent user of the program so I hesitate to be critical.

Summary: I am very happy with the support provided. All other similar E-File software products were more difficult to work with and MUCH more expensive.

Positive: I was unable to get this module to work. I was able to access the Customer Support on-line chat forum. The support clerk was very courteous, patient and professional. That clerk walked me through the process to get my PDF E-File software to work properly.

Negative: The support clerk advised me to make a change to my McAfee virus scan software to exclude two PDF Architect executable files from that virus scan. My PDF software works now, BUT I am hoping that the PDF Architect corp will make some modification to their software so that Virus Scan executable files will NOT have to be excluded.

Summary: Good Acrobat alternative, competitively priced. Support via email worked. I like it overall and I plan to renew it.

Positive: Product is stable, works as expected. The conversion tools (pdf to ppt etc) work very well. It has a well designed interface, though not as intuitive as the original Acrobat, still it works fine.

Negative: Security management is not easy to use. I had some trouble creating pdfs from scratch at the beginning, then I got used to it.

Summary: I have been overall happy with the product for a couple of years and will stay a customer for at least two more years.

Positive: PDF Architect is easy to use and reliable. What I liked especially today was the excellent support via the Chat function.

Negative: There could be more comment and mark functions for texts.

Summary: Good program for the day to day use. Offers excellent basic features such as pdf handling, saving and printing.

Positive: Complete program! Can do much! Basic facilities are excellent, such as importing and publishing scans.

Negative: The advanced functions, such as text editing are not so easy for me. I had some troubles with fonts handling.

Summary: Overall, the experience was good. The product is good, overall. I use it every day in my business and it indispensable.

Positive: I was happy with the way the issue was resolved. The resolution was more than fair and better than I expected. I was quite satisfied.

Negative: It took a day or two longer than expected, but I was kept abreast of the delay. I received a prompt notice that my complaint had been received and notice that there would be a short delay.

Summary: I'm very new to this package so time will tell but so far, after a couple of hiccups, all looks very promising.

Positive: The ease of use. Editing is very easy and the main reason I purchased this product. Collating separate pages into one PDF is very easy and useful.

Negative: The file-opening page - trying to be 'helpful' but isn't (in my opinion).

Summary: Good on the whole. I have been using PDF architect for a while now.
It is a good product that works well in MS windows OS.

Positive: Good timely response from the support team. I have an older Architect 5 that I bought several years ago. They easily fixed my License problem for a new laptop along with a small upgrade to the next higher version 6. They also offered me a discounted price for their latest version 9.
