Simple and useful for managing our R&D projects

    5 out of 5 stars Date: Nov 05 2026

Summary: Overall, we've had a good experience with Otilus so far. It helps us stay organized and keep track of our different R&D projects without making things too complicated. The team got used to it pretty quickly, and it's made our day-to-day work easier. There are still a few things that could be improved, but overall we're happy with it.

Positive: We are a team of around 20 people working in R&D, mainly on gel coat development. We have several projects running at the same time, with lots of testing and different stages to manage. Otilus makes it easier to see where everything stands and who's doing what. I particularly like the Kanban boards and the ability to keep notes and documents attached to each project. It's quite easy to use, even for people who aren't very comfortable with project management software.

Negative: The main limitation for us is interoperability. We use other tools in our lab, especially Excel, and it would be useful to have more integrations or an API to connect everything together. At the moment, some information still needs to be transferred manually. It's not a major issue for our daily work, but I hope this will improve in future updates.
