Self explanatory charting Date: Jan 19 2024
Summary: It’s easy to chart. Not able to go back and see what you charted. Gives you all the patient info you need to know.
Positive: Easy to figure out how to chart on a patient when you didn’t receive any training on the system. I was able to chart with absolutely no training.
Negative: Once something is entered into the chart, you are unable to go back and look at what you just entered. So no double checking if you mixed up the heart rate and respiration count when entering a patients vitals. It’s up to you to catch that mistake as you’re making it, relying on the keen eye of a very busy nurse to catch and correct the error, or else you’ll be hearing a doctor yelling about a pulse if 20 and respiratory count of 86.

Once you hit ‘finish’ and put that data out into the world, you cannot see what you actually charted.
