    Summary: I have been working with New Relic for over 5yrs and feel it is a good product and capable of providing monitoring and APM solutions for most business use cases. Very good at helping to troubleshoot performance issues, UX issues, code debugging, release management improvements.

    Positive: Integrates with many dev. frameworks and or vendor solution stacks. Good documentation and support. great flexibility for reporting and analysis.
    Easy to get started with, but is still feature rich. works with most common cloud stacks and open source tools. Works with all major OS's , containers, serverless. Provides trans. traceability, synth monitoring and real time reporting. Supports single sign-on, on prem and cloud assets.

    Negative: Does not integrate/work well with some key proprietary vendor provided platforms (ie. SAP, Cloudera, Vmware, salesforce).
    Difficult/complex licensing strategy making it hard to manage costs.
    Regularly changing software can create some confusion to end users when major releases or changes are made without much notice.
