MapperX is a web-based platform that facilitates the evaluation of solar photovoltaic plants through thermal and RGB images captured by drones. It systematically organizes the inspection data and employs AI-driven analysis to identify possible thermal anomalies and visual defects at the module level for further examination by experts. The results are associated with plant maps and asset records, enabling teams to assess issues, compare various inspections, delegate follow-up tasks, and generate PDF reports that detail anomalies, temperatures, severity levels, and precise locations. This software is designed to enhance outdoor photovoltaic thermography processes in accordance with IEC 62446-3 standards, and it caters to solar operations, maintenance, commissioning, warranty documentation, and insurance requirements. MapperX serves a diverse audience, including PV inspection and operations and maintenance teams, drone service providers, EPC contractors, and solar asset owners, and it is compatible with DJI thermal-drone imagery. While the conclusions drawn from inspections and the generated reports are informative, they ultimately depend on the expertise and scope of the reviewing team.
