Kray Description

Kray is a state-of-the-art global illumination renderer. It allows for very fast and precise rendering of scenes in which indirect light plays an important role. It uses the most modern algorithms and optimizations that allow it to render full global illumination and reflections on standard computers. Fast global illumination: light/photon map - biased but not dependent on the number of ray recursions. Path tracing – unbiased with serval sampling optimizs. Irradiance caching – for fast, view-independent, reusable GI solutions storage, caustics. Light models: line, area, point/directional, point/directional, line, and background lights. Also, lighting pre sampling. Instancing allows for repeated use of the same geometry at multiple locations in the rendered scene. It is very memory efficient. Instanced geometry can also be instances. Self-cloning is possible with a user-defined number of recursions.
