Summary: I've been introduced to it on 17th of February 2018, on its initial stage. Since then, the team of web developers, hotel managers, back office employees and receptionists made a commitment to contribute at its improvement and the reliable software that is today. It required a good connection between the technological side and the business field understanding, hence the name "HotelConnect".
Positive: It is developed using JavaScript, one of the most popular programming languages for web development nowadays. The concept took shape in 2015 using JQuery, an in demand JavaScript library. As the technology evolved over time so did Hotel Connect. ReactJS is the new library on which the PMS has been refactored. The technology beeing used by top tech companies such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Netflix, Airbnb, etc. The web servers communication for the distribution channel is possible through a GraphQL API (Application Programming Interface), a query language used by Github, an Internet hosting service for software development owned by Microsoft.
Negative: To improve the messaging and comments sections and add a dark-mood theme.
