Google Analytics allows extensive monitoring of the website.

    Date: Apr 10 2023

Summary: Google Analytics has been a perfect service to be able to have a complete analysis of what happens within our web page, thanks to this platform we have been able to count correctly, since previously we used others when counting the visits, and they did not cancel the visits repetitive, therefore, the visit accounting system was not so accurate. Currently, with the help of Google Analytics we have been able to correctly count the total visits for each of the actions on our website, in addition, we have also been able to have a complete record of the visits we receive from each of the regions around the world, This platform offers us a geographic map function, in which we can see the percentage that we have received on the page, we can graphically see which region has been the most web page, this platform automatically detects where the visits from each of the users. Google Analytics has also helped us a lot to visualize the most demanded areas on another web page, we have been able to visualize the most important areas for our clients, since this platform of activity waves, already when it allows us to detect more visualized areas or what more time They have captured the attention of visitors.

Positive: Google Analytics has been a very key service when it comes to correctly analyzing the behavior within our website. The main feature that I liked about Google Analytics platform analyzes and reports in real time about the general behavior of a web page, every time I correctly associate a web page to Google Analytics, this platform will automatically start collecting all possible information about of the behavior of the web page, information on the number of total visits, the number of organic visits or visits by robots, as well as detecting the behavior of each visit within the web page, yield innovative results to find out which section is most demanded of a website. Another positive aspect that can be found within this platform is that it correctly counts the visits without the need to duplicate them, this platform automatically detects repetitive visits through the IP address of each visitor, managing to make organic visits and avoiding repetitive counting. Another positive aspect that can be found within this platform is the ease of main configuration, since it is quite easy to correctly link the website with the Google Analytics system, you just have to correctly configure the ports of the website, configure the different sections of a web page and also configure the servers, in order to obtain reports in real time. I also like Google Analytics since it also collects information about contact forms that are located within a website, this function is very important since it helps us to correctly count the number of people who have accessed a contact form , to be able to know how many clients have contacted us.

Negative: The main negative aspect that can be found within Google Analytics is that this platform offers a mobile application that is not fully designed to have a wide configuration of the Google Analytics system. This application only allows you to obtain and generate new reports about the behavior, however, you cannot make any type of configuration regarding the web page or the connectivity that the page has with the Google Analytics service, you cannot notify server configurations and Neither are Port configurations hosted on the web page, this is quite negative since these configurations can currently only be done through the version for computers. Another negative aspect is that this platform does not have any kind of built-in function to protect against attacks on the website's servers, currently it only links to the website to perform deep analysis of the behavior of the website, however, it is not capable of blocking visits from hackers or malicious people on the web page.

It is a good solution for data collection and processing.

    Date: Jan 04 2023

Summary: Being part of Google, I do not doubt that it has a large amount of data and that this data is also consistent. This data is invaluable to me and I have been able to take advantage of all the results I get when conducting research and searching for information with this platform. With Google Analytics I have also been able to detect how users have been able to find my company's website, with this it has been able to give me an idea of what to focus on in order to have better performance and thus also obtain potential clients by knowing what users are looking for . My company's campaigns have also benefited from this platform by being able to use valuable information that allows my work team to attract more attention from users and create potential clients, target a more interested audience or create an audience to whom interested in the services offered by my company. I have been able to get good information with this platform since all information is actionable of how visitors interact with my company's website, plus if I don't want to spend all my time on the computer it is possible to track everything through the mobile application which I consider from my perspective to be very complete and interactive to monitor my company's website.

Positive: Google Analytics can be integrated very well into any website, thus being able to measure user traffic, from which sources they have reached your website, you can even add heat maps to detect the areas that users visit most frequently and thus take advantage of that information to bring forth other features that users don't often see or encounter. With this amount of data and more, a comprehensive analysis of the website can be carried out to obtain the best performance and also have more visitors by having a more intuitive page if the data obtained when your website is crawled is used. This website monitoring tool is very complete and for my part I have taken a lot of advantage of it, obtaining benefits.

You can differentiate between organic traffic and the traffic that has come thanks to ads. For the marketing team, this function has been essential since it was possible to determine how much impact marketing has caused within my company and how much it has helped to introduce the best keywords within my website. With this function, it has been measured to scale my company by being able to promote ideas depending on what the users are looking for and also apply strategies that work to fall into a bad streak of visits, so knowing the users well is very important and with this platform helps a lot to understand what users need.

The reports show understandable graphs, I did not hesitate much to make decisions when it comes to obtaining the results of certain periods. For me, seeing the traffic results once a campaign is published is important to see if the strategy I applied is working. In addition, many more things can generate the reports since it is highly customizable, adapting to the needs of each company.

Google support has given me many solutions when I have had crashes within the platform, usually this has not happened frequently, but when it does happen a quick solution is important as it would be a waste of time and money for every day that passes . Also, when I want to implement new strategies I can count on the Google support team to see if it is feasible to apply certain methods and that they are useful when applying them. So from support I have had a good experience as a user of several years with this platform.

Negative: Honestly, I don't find many problems that are relevant and that prevent the correct functioning of this platform. Google Analytics is very well optimized from small to large companies and that is what I liked about this platform compared to others. For me these are the points that I consider negative that may not be so difficult to solve on a day-to-day basis:

You may need Google Analytics experts to use this platform as handling data is not easy even though this platform is not complicated to use. I say this from experience, handling a lot of data and taking advantage of it does not always turn out as expected, the supervening bias must be taken into account and many other techniques to apply with the data obtained with this platform. In addition, with the Google Analytics 4 update, many functions that the previous version of GA had become obsolete, so you have to consider having trained personnel for the correct use of this platform-

This platform does not work very well with respect to social networks, I suppose that since most social media do not have indexing in certain places, it is likely that a deep study cannot be carried out. In addition, when visitors arrive at my company's website, it often detects it as "from unknown sources" this makes the analysis a bit blemished by not being able to correctly determine that a user came through a certain social network.

They could create a kind of course from the most basic to the most advanced in order to take advantage of this platform. Many times new users do not see a good performance of this platform due to the misuse of the data obtained. I believe that Google should give many examples in order to have a better performance in the use of this platform and also optimize everything so as not to have repeated analyzes or that are not worth it.

It helped me boost my company.

    Date: Dec 06 2022

Summary: I have given many uses to Google Analytics, both to see how the optimization of my website is, and also to be able to measure the traffic of the people who enter and in turn observe what I can improve to be able to promote my company through the Internet with the data obtained through this platform.

With this platform I have been able to adapt to the changes that the internet has and thus be able to integrate the best content of my company based on the users. This in order to put myself at the feet of the users when I try to know what to look for and how they do it, at the same time laying the foundations of my company by trying to focus on a specific group of people who want the services that my company offers. and will offer in the near future.

For me, focusing on the right audience is the most important thing, so with the data obtained with GA I have been able to reach the objectives set. In addition, we have been able to track the reach or impact that my company's website has had by being able to improve our strategy, which is always adapting to current times and will continue to do so thanks to this platform and its tools.

Positive: + The graphical representation of the data provided by this platform is very well done since, in general, when Google Analytics is used, many results are shown with the data obtained. So I like that they have been able to represent everything with great care in order to understand everything in a more practical way and there is no confusion in the conclusions that are made to enhance my website.

+ I can see all the historical data from the indexing of the website to Google, this helped me a lot in the comparison when important changes are made. Without this feature I would not be able to see a before and after after improving what I considered my website was missing to attract more traffic and generate sales. I believe that this operation of being able to see historical data should not only be present in Google Analytics but in all similar platforms, since it is very important to evaluate and make comparisons between the changes or supposed improvements made to a website.

+ The metadata offered by GA is very complete, it has allowed me to improve the SEO of my website in all its splendor. Without this I could not have a good web positioning or know what suits me best with my company. It also helped me understand what kind of audience I wanted to generate when trying to get traffic to my website, this ensured maximum performance without having a high bounce rate.

+ The implementation is simple for anyone, practically Google guides you at all times from the start so that there are no problems when it comes to obtaining results. With this I do not mean that this platform is very easy to use, it may contain simple functions, but easy to use it is not. However, when I first started with GA it was easy to get it up and running within my company, otherwise it took me a while to fully understand how to use it.

+ For those who do not know how to fully use this platform or are just starting with Google Analytics, this positive point will be very useful. Although it is true that extensive knowledge is needed to handle this tool very well and get the most out of it, something similar can also be done in an automated way that GA incorporates, it is very simple to use, however, if you want to go deeper, get good results and take advantage of the data obtained I recommend starting to learn how to use the features that Google Analytics offers.

Negative: - Previous experience is needed to use the tools of this platform, I say this because its learning curve is quite steep and good results are not obtained if you do not know how to handle Google Analytics correctly. So if you want to get useful data I personally recommend great preparation or just recruit someone who already has the right knowledge to recognize what works and what doesn't work on your website being analyzed.

    - It is a serious problem not being able to filter my website traffic based on location. This happens in Google Analytics 4 and it's annoying because in previous versions you could do it comfortably without configuring anything. This removes a lot of useful information since with that data collected we can adapt to the needs of customers and also see the impact that our website causes in different places.

    - For those who come from the previous version of Google Analytics like me, the relearning process was a bit hard. This happened because GA4 had many sections that were moved/removed and I had to spend almost a month to adapt to the new features. I hope that for future updates they will be more flexible with the old users so as not to dedicate everything to relearning the management of the platform, because if something works, why not continue doing the same?

    - Its interface takes time to load, regardless of the browser or the internet connection, it seems that the data is very heavy and I usually have to wait for everything to load before starting to read the data. An optimization of this would not be bad since if I am using it in the browser it should be much faster since I am consuming practically no browser resources.

    The go-to for a reason

    Date: Nov 16 2022

Summary: Overall, if you think you might need to use GA, then you do. It's a necessity for anyone running, optimizing, or marketing a website.

Positive: GA gives you unparalleled access to website data and is a must for anyone in marketing or running a website. GA4 in particular is an incredibly powerful data analytics tool, and the insights you can get from GA data are nearly limitless. And it's completely free. There is a reason virtually every website has this installed!

Negative: Particularly with the move from GA3 to GA4, some of the naming conventions are difficult to parse. It can take several clicks to get to standard reports (although this is improved in GA4), and a single misclick can take several other clicks to undo.

I can measure my website traffic in quite a bit of detail.

    Date: Sep 14 2022

Summary: I have been able to improve my SEO with this platform by knowing the data of my visitors in real time, I have also been able to improve my site by knowing in which sections the visitors passed the most in order to make my website more attractive and obtain more visitors by doing this my company expands more by having more visitors. I have been able to improve the impact of the advertising that I have done to my website in different channels and in the Google search engine since everything is linked and I can know what people are looking for in relation to my area of work or the type of company which I run.

Positive: º It is very detailed when monitoring my website traffic through this platform as it provides an excellent level of detail of the traffic I am getting. So, for example, I can know from what source my clients are entering my website, that is, if they entered from social channels or if it was through an advertisement or video on our channel.

º I can know what the performance of my website is in order to measure its performance with the clients that are arriving, I can measure each action that is being taken within my website such as clicks, which section they visit, how long users stay within my site and anything with which the visitor interacts within my site so that I can know how or what else catches their attention and what does not, in this case to improve what is not working.

º I like that from any point where my visitors have reached my site I can know the origin, I can obtain valuable information such as the keywords they used to find it, so I can better understand what they are looking for to improve my SEO within me site and thus be able to further expand my company on the internet by being able to understand what customers are looking for.

º The implementation was easy regardless of whether I have made my website from scratch with just code or have implemented a web editor, either way it works the same as being able to track within my website with Google Analytics. In addition, you can practically use the free version and it is quite complete with the reports it provides when you analyze your site's traffic with this platform, if you want a more detailed report on your website you could talk to a sales agent who will adapt to the needs of the company since this platform is very flexible from small businesses to large companies.

º I can integrate Google Analytics with any other Google platform to make the job of having everything contacted much easier without the need to migrate to another platform due to lack of incompatibility. In addition, not only with those of Google since this platform opens borders to other sites to adapt to a broader market, this helped me a lot when I wanted to integrate a sales platform that was external to Google and I was able to index it to this platform without problems, This way I could measure the profits according to the visits that I have obtained within my website.

Negative: º They change their interface a lot very often and this hinders the analysis work since I have to relearn where everything is every time they update the interface. I know this has a good purpose and is to facilitate user convenience when using Google Analytics services but I would rather see them make a general change and show a walkthrough of the new features and where everything is relocated. I would prefer that it always receive stability and security updates or that they apply improvements with new tools without touching anything in the interface just to have everything more practical without having to start from scratch with each new update.

º It lacks programming, this is very limiting when I need to add personalized functions or sections which I require certain analysis, being able to apply my programming knowledge in order to have better control and analysis of the traffic generated on my website taking advantage of the benefits that this brings to be able to improve in all aspects the services that I offer within my company.

º There are people who cannot be tracked, thus preventing us from knowing what type of client is entering our website and giving them personalized attention in case they want to contact us about any query or want to acquire a service that we offer. This happens very rarely, but the fact that it is not possible to know with certainty the characteristics of whoever has entered gives us an uncertainty of what the client wants and we have to make a small effort to know what he likes when he contacts us. and we know nothing about it.

º Despite the fact that this platform can be used with just a click, I can say that it has many functionalities to be able to use it correctly. It should have a small element where you can access or see a small tutorial on how to use certain functionality in order to facilitate its use and not be lost when you start with Google Analytics for the first time, since I have been able to meet people who want to manage their company independently and it has been difficult for them to use this platform when they want to implement it and measure the traffic of their website.

º It is annoying when I have robots on my website generating spam or some type of attack which I cannot avoid with this platform since it does not provide me with the IPs which may be affecting my website. It annoys me that I have to resort to external platforms to do this work of attack analysis that my website has, I would like everything to be within Google Analytics for a better tracking of what visitors do when they are inside my site and know if they are attackers or an ordinary customer who is just taking a look at our website.

Google Analytics - A trustable tool to get insightful data

    Date: Oct 02 2021

Summary: With Google Analytics we can easily measure out clients who visit our site (explicitly our greeting page). We make models to perceive how they associated with the page to make alters in like manner for a superior transformation on our promotions. We additionally utilize natural information given by Google investigation to fragment a group of people to showcase and publicize as well. We have viewed Google Analytics to be perhaps our best device we use in house!

Positive: Google Analytics is the standard examination revealing programming. However it requires some investment to figure out how to explore, Google Analytics gives a full perspective on the information you need to settle on educated business choices. I like that Google continues to work on the item. I like that it coordinates consistently with my sites without a lot of coding work. It gives me every one of the information our web-based shops need to settle on choices rapidly.

Negative: Nothing, truly I wish, it was somewhat simpler to analyze certain issues, however that has more to do with our site than with Google Analytics.

Google analytics is the best analytics tool for gaining the insights of websites

    Date: Sep 22 2021

Summary: Whenever I start working with nay client the first thing I do is connect the website to Google Analytics. As a digital marketer, the data and insights on the tool are very important for me. Daily I analyse the data such as where the audience is coming from and from which part of the world they are from and from which device. I also analyse the CTR (click-through rate), Bounce Rate, Sessions, Events and CRO (conversion rate optimization) and many metrics in order to improve the website. Google Analytics is the best tool as far as I know which provides such deep insights for a website for a free or low price.

Positive: Google analytics is a must have tool for all digital marketing professionals because the data insights which the tool gives is pretty impressive and accurate as per my experience with the tool. The best part of Google Analytics is that we can add many properties under one account and many accounts for a user. As per my experience, the data shown by Google Analytics is very accurate and the tool is also very easy to use.

Negative: There is nothing to dislike about Google Analytics. With its new GA4, Google Analytics have introduced many features that were not present in Google Universal Analytics.
