Food, employees, kitchen, and tables. Since 2009, we have been on the market. Floreant has been tested in the market since 2009. Floreant POS is used by many restaurants, cafes, food shops, and pizzerias. Since almost 12 years, we have been serving businesses. The software is free of restrictions, hidden costs, and locking. Because Floreant POS has an embedded database, installation is simple. It runs without any internet connection, unlike many cloud-dependent POSs. You can use the touch screen terminal, kitchen printer, or cash drawer.

    Free POS system for restaurant / bar / lounge.

    Summary: We are a non chain / non franchise restaurant and we have been using the Floreant POS system since we have switched over from being a franchise restaurant. It was pretty easy to setup the entire system scratch. We were able to use our old pos system to load Floreant POS and had no issues. It will lack in back office integration but it does work for our use. We highly recommend it.

    Positive: Free! Does not cost a dime to set up.
    Easy to setup, there is a lot of support online from the community.
    Open source.
    Compatible with most systems.

    Negative: Yes it is a free open source software, and it will lack in certain integrations such as credit card / debit processing but it will work wonders for a small start up restaurant / bar. We does not have a fancy layout but it is very customizable to have it the way you want it.
