Summary: It has been good, just needs to be more affordable. It is built to make you buy third party services, rather than incorporating its own abilities.

Positive: It is easy to use, it is a blank slate. It keeps the case moving, I can filter results, LOIS makes it easy to catch up or be brought to speed. It does great with keeping expenses, preparing settlement statements on variable data. Case notes are never an issue. They are always where you enter them.

Negative: It is often hard to create complex reports, or find field names. The attachments are often just sitting in the docs section without organization.

Summary: Great overall experience with Filevine. I appreciate their responsive customer service team that the time that they have dedicated to my business.

Positive: This is a wonderful tool for legal case management and client data management. Additionally, I feel that Filevine is unmatched in terms of its AI capabilities and functionality.

Negative: I wish that it connected with more third party providers.

Summary: Overall, I think Filevine is a useful tool. It may be better suited for prelitigation than litigation trial firms, but it definitely allows tracking tasks and makes things so much easier when cases transition to other teams, since everything about the case history and status on all tasks is right there in front of you.

Positive: centralized case management - keeping deadlines, tasks, and docs organized helps make info accessible to whole team
reporting - tracking case progress, monitoring workloads, and identifying outstanding assignments
team collaboration - allows attorneys, paralegals, secretaries, and clerks to coordinate work and assign tasks within many different cases

Negative: outlook/calendar integration - needs to be more reliable. when integrations disconnect, it creates extra admin work and increases risk of missed deadlines
reporting - could be more intuitive for tracking firmwide productivity, employee workloads, and outstanding tasks
ease of use/administration - Filevine is highly customizable, but making changes can be a bit complicated especially with all of the fields and options.

Summary: we really enjoy LOIS for Word - like any in-house team, tools like LOIS that help make us all more efficient are invaluable

Positive: Ease of use; natural language comprehension and output; taking 30-60 minute tasks and turning them into 5-10 minute tasks

Negative: Agent review tends to flag small issues as major issues

Summary: It's definitely a welcome for our firm especially based on our old system (Hummingbird DM by OpenText), which was not very user friendly at all.

Positive: I like that it's very easy to use and FV is constantly coming out with new features and upgrades to fix any bugs, etc.

Negative: If you have staff changeover, it triggers the billing department as they are thinking you need more licenses, even though you may be just changing up your staff, firing old, hiring new.

Summary: Great dedicated sales team, management, and customer support. Top to bottom, it's a great company to partner with.

Positive: Love having our legal case management software and projects all integrated with Filevine's new, upgraded, cutting-edge AI products (Lois Console, Lois for Word, Outlook)

Negative: Nothing really. Hope they continues to upgrade and make improvements--which they have been doing throughout our contract over the last 6 months +.
