Disroot Description

Disroot offers secure email accounts via a web interface or desktop client. SSL encryption ensures maximum privacy and security between you, the mail server, and yourself. All emails sent from our server are encrypted (TLS) if the recipient's email server supports it. This means that emails are not sent as a traditional "postcard", but rather are placed in an "envelope". RainLoop powers our webmail. Rainloop is a modern webmail system. It's fast, simple, and offers all the features you would expect from webmail. Choose your background picture. Display conversations in a threaded format. The interface is being translated into many languages. You can set up rules to move, copy, forward or reject email automatically to certain folders. You can add contacts to Nextcloud and link them directly into the webmail.

Summary: Disroot is pretty solid, supports PGP, IMAP/POP so you can use Thunderbird or K-9 Mail for accessing.

Positive: Disroot is one of the many e-mail providers to provide IMAP or POP, while others like ProtonMail don't allow.

Negative: Web client based on RainLoop, not a great fit for a privacy respecting e-mail.
