Summary: I switched to Discord from another messaging app, and have never looked back. It works very well, especially for a free software. The paid version of it have nice perks, but I've never needed it for my uses.

Positive: Discord offers a solid foundation for chat, video, and voice options. There are also several channel options that are independently able to be managed, allowing for customizable notifications on everything. The web app, mobile app, and desktop app all work well, which is rare!

Negative: I have noticed when my desktop app is open that the mobile app will not send notifications, so I do sometimes miss items if I've accidentally left it open and walked away from my desk. It's obviously a minor inconvenience though.

Summary: It's the best communications app today. It's free and user friendly. Some bags here and there, but aside from that it's awesome!

Positive: - Incredibly easy to install and start using.
- It's popular, so everybody has it (exactly what you want for a communication app).
- Simple Design.

Negative: Not the greatest support of integrations with other apps.

Summary: Discord is great software for group communications, whether the topic is gaming or some other community interest. It offers a very generous free tier, high quality audio chat, and free video group chat. Extra features can be made available for everyone in a community server for a small monthly fee.

Positive: - nice looking UI
- server-centric chat means community building is easier, and rules can be enforced on a community basis
- high quality audio in voice chat
- free group video calling
-free screen sharing

Negative: - video chat is noticeably lower quality than some other platforms and tends to freeze or drop out
- concept of audio chat rooms can be confusing to beginners

Summary: Discord is the worthy successor of Teamspeak and over three years of my usage, it has improved a lot. In its current form it is more than just an app for gamers to communicate while gaming. It has evolved into a modern social media app with major focus communities.

Positive: Direct chat, Group chat, Group Calling, Video calling.
Create private/public servers for free.
Multi platform availability - desktop, mobiles and even consoles.
Lots of features to create and manage online communities.
Integrates well with a lot of other apps - Twitch, YouTube, PSN.

Negative: Expensive subscription (Discord Nitro) for better quality of audio-video.

Summary: Overall I really enjoy using Discord to chat with real life friends and online friends. It's really easy to switch between multiple groups and friends.

Positive: This is a great way to keep up with people who share similar interests. You can share topics, videos, and pictures, as well as a lot other media. It is a great way to interact with others online, including interacting via voice chat.

Negative: There isn't much I don't like about Discord. Sometimes the voice chats can drop or sound really bad.

Summary: Discord is chatting platform for gamers. It is easy to use. Users come together on this app to discuss games, gameplay and other game related content. It's a good way to connect to your friends and hangout with them.

Summary: Overall, Discord is a great platform to connect with people all around the world. Along with chatting it also allows to create of groups called channels which can be customized according to the theme of the channel and further roles can be created according to them.

Positive: - Discord allows the user to create and join channels and create roles and rules for those specific channels.
- The channels can be customized easily according to the admin's preference.
- The user interface of the application feels very modern and interactive.
- Users can choose what profile data they want to show to other users.

Negative: - It can be quite difficult to understand the user interface and navigation of the application initially but after some time, it is effortless to use the application.

Summary: Overall discord is very good software it helps us to have chat, voice call, video call, share screen at a same time with large no of people. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Overall, Discord is a modern tool to communicate and connect with people across the world with similar interests. The UI of the application is amazing and features it provides are unique and makes the application distinguishable with other social media applications.

Summary: Overall, Discord is an all-in-one chatting and socializing application with a ton of features and a simple and organized user interface.

Positive: - Discord makes it easy to share large files and resources in the chat.
- A channel can be created for any interest or theme.
- Admin has a lot of control over the members of the channel and the roles.
- The live-streaming feature is refined and easy to use.
- The whole user interface is well organized and feels seamless to navigate from one page or channel to another.
- The isn't any limitation on the number of channels can be joined by a user.

Negative: - There is not a good support for integration with other application.

Summary: Discord is an astounding stage when you need fast correspondence and input in one or the other work or social conditions. Strife is better than voice-just telephone calls in light of the fact that the visit can be used to give connects to extra assets or to share symbolism. Disunity doesn't have the video ability that other gathering applications have, however for sound/text just it works impeccably. I recommend this. Sometimes i use this for gaming too like PUBG.

Positive: Discord makes text and sound based correspondence between gatherings of individuals incredibly simple. I use disunity week by week for gatherings and to impart on different activities and social interactions. Free plan is ideally suited for a great many people. Sound quality is good. Talk functions admirably and has bunches of customization. Dark subject is good looking.

Negative: In some cases communication is laggy. Speech recognition is postponed and doesn't function admirably.

Summary: Discord is the most important app in my day to day life. I use it to communicate to plan projects, hang out with friends, build my Twitch community and interact with the world. I don't know how I would've gotten through 2020 without it.

Positive: User friendly model, easy to use features, pay structure that incentives community. Everything that discord does from the style to the messaging to the features feels like it cares about its users and building their communities.

Negative: Notification settings are a little convoluted. It could be easier to stop discords from becoming backlogged with pings.

Summary: A great platform that is easy to use! It can just as easily be used for industry as it can be used for fun, remote hangouts with friends.

Positive: Discord is a surprisingly versatile platform that allows brands to build actual communities with their users. This has been especially useful during COVID isolation, but should continue to be useful as we move beyond isolation. Between hosting live events that users can watch, creating an interactive forum to work with users on problems, and to encouraging relationships to grow among the community of users, Discord provides the potential for businesses to be more engaged and accessible to their users than ever.

Discord also functions as a collaboration tool internally as well, similar to Zoom, Teams, and even Slack. For a small company, Discord could really do everything needed for collaboration internally and externally.

Negative: The fact that Discord was initially intended as a way for people to chat while playing video games has limited its application in the eyes of many users. While they've recently rebranded themselves slightly, their icon still looks like a gaming controller. They should consider a more significant rebrand to grow their appeal to other industries.

As Discord continues to grow, they should add a feature that allows users to be logged into more than one account at once (similar to how you can switch easily between email accounts). Users are starting to have personal and professional accounts on the platform, and currently you have to log out all the way to switch.

Summary: Discord is like the biggest social media platform nobody talks about. It's like reddit, but more of an instant-messaging app than a forum-based community. Either way, it is very helpful and convenient. Plus, it's free and multi-platform.

Positive: Discord is packed with features that work well. Instant voice messaging, screen sharing, media file sharing - everything can be done seamlessly. There are thousands of servers and group discussions in not just gaming, but practically every field. It is the best app to ask for help or support from experienced users, with schoolwork, technology, blogging, or gaming as it was originally intended for. I love the bots that make managing channels easier, and the variety of gifs, stickers and messaging options outshine all other messaging apps. It works equally well across all devices - PCs and mobile. Simple and powerful.

Negative: It took me a while to get used to the technicalities of the app, even though there isn't much. The bots and multiple channels and access rights can be intimidating for a beginner.

Summary: You can complete power not only on groups and channels, you can even decide which participant can have what kind of access.

Positive: If you want a place where you could make a separate channel within groups for different purposes. You can make a lot of channels and separate rules for each.

Negative: It is a lot complex. You need to learn how to use it and it could take time. It could a little simpler.
