Summary: Big fan of 2020 Design Live, and happy with the product and the service! I use the software daily, and even though I handle much more than just designing as my job, being creative and designing with 2020 is my favorite part of the day.

Positive: I'm very happy using 2020 Design Live to create my works of art. I love the customer support when needed, and how I get use manufacturers catalogs to make ordering simple and fast. Also, love that I can use SketchUp to bring in other items to make the renderings look realistic.

Negative: Not a big fan of the Flex Closet system. I currently use Mozaik for my closet jobs.

Summary: 2020 has one of the best programs for design. The ease of learning the program is great. I enjoy using the program for any and all projects design.

Positive: Clear and up to date renderings. The product delivers great renderings which help the customer create selling designs to help visualize their space.

Negative: Catalogs not included in the cloud that are pertinent to design.

Summary: It is easy to use and great command options. I would recommend to anyone looking for a design program.

Positive: Being Live has been faster and much more efficient when placing specific products in the layouts. It's great!

Negative: Not all products are available and the search has to be too specific.

Summary: User since 2005. Still learn new tricks every week. Product has the flexibility I need for design work outside of the standard 3-wall kitchen or simple bathroom. Confident is will continue to introduce innovative features that make design and ordering faster, more efficient, and beautiful.

Positive: Commitment to continual improvement. As an industry-standard design software, I am able to work with all cabinet lines/companies as needed.

Negative: The Cloud-based items do not import when I am working in areas with Wi-Fi . I would like to be able to increase font size in the dialogue boxes, most are too tiny to read clearly. It's a lot of program for a new user.

Summary: Love the program. Would recommend it to everyone that draws kitchens.
Love how i can logout from work and login at home.

Positive: Has come a long way from Version 9 which I loved but I am warming up to the way the program runs now.

Negative: Have a hard time with lighting not distorting the cabinetry.

Summary: We would recommend it compared to anything on the market. We have used most of them. Early on it was difficult, but they have made great improvements.

Positive: It is the best Kitchen and Bath design tool in the industry
It gives you the flexibility to do any style or layout.

Negative: Expensive. That is the only real complaint I have.

Summary: Very pleased with this program and have been using it for the past 6 years. It's so helpful to give my customers a visual and I can make installation drawings without having to put everything in a completely different program. Customer service has always been so great!

Positive: Easy to Use - Varied Catalogs for cabinets, appliances, bath fixtures, etc. - Auto Dimensions opening, cabinets, and centerlines and lets you add your own dimensions - Automatically makes elevations - Renderings are Decent Quality - Automatically makes counter plan - Can add images for specialty finishes not available thru Cloud - Great Customer Service! - Most of the catalogs will not let you design a cabinet modification that the brand doesn't offer - The program will let you know if there is a collision and there's not enough dimension for what you're trying to put in - You can add notes to every work area.

Negative: The automatic renderings are almost too bright after the most recent program updates. They take a lot more time to tweak and make just right. The counters and 3D shapes have started disappearing if you've positioned the camera to be over them which is kind of frustrating to get just the right angle of rendering sometimes.

Summary: I have been using 2020 Design for 27 years. Overall, I have been very happy with the software, and I must say...I wouldn't want to do my job without it. It has made my career so much more enjoyable. Thank you for this exceptional product!

Positive: My favorite thing about Design Live is the Cloud Catalog. Being able to pull specific appliances, plumbing fixtures and design elements from the Cloud is fantastic.
I also love that there is no usb key to access the software now. That makes it much more user friendly, especially for Designers that don't always work from the same location. The fear of losing or breaking a key was always a big stressor.

Negative: There are still instances where the program crashes, i.e. when creating a rendering that has a fair amount of detail. Sometimes this can even corrupt a file and you lose all your hard work on a project.

Summary: I've used this program since 1975. The program is an industry standard, and easy to use. It is a great tool for in home designing with clients. The product has changed over the years as industry has evolved. Customer support is always there for questions or it issues. The renderings can sell the project as customers can actually visualize the final vision.

Negative: I have no real dislikes with the program, I have used many others in the industry.

Summary: I am a cabinet representative and I find that having and using the tool helps me to better assist my customers as they design with my many cabinet brands.

Positive: The advancements over time have kept up with customer expectations. I like most of the rendering options.

Negative: Some dealers who have limited or no internet access are being forced to find another design/quote tool.

Summary: I love the product. I just wish the perspectives were better to use. They use to allow you to do a view that did a perspective on just a wall instead of the entire drawing. I do not feel like the current views are as useful as what they use to have.

Positive: I love 2020 Live. I use it for both of my positions. I own my own business and I work at a Corporation that is a Kitchen and Bath, where I design as well. I have been using the software for over a decade.

Negative: I do not like the views. I wish you could do better.

Summary: My experience with 2020 Live has been very good. My renderings look fantastic, and I teach designer's how to improve their 2020 Design Live renderings and create social media post using Reels, and Canva. I wrote a 2020 Design Class on how to place lighting in 2020 Design for Doug Walter, CMKBD, Architect and he presented it to an NKBA chapter. I write Kitchen and Bath Design material every week.

Positive: As a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer, I have used 2020 for 25 years for the design and sales of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. I find my renderings are top notch and my drawings have the specifications needed for my installers to accurately install cabinetry. Easy render has been a great addition and I am looking forward to new and innovative additions to the software. I invested in a new computer and 4 K monitor and have found any problems I had with 2020 Design, resolved with having a high-power computer that can handle the program. I have been an administrator in the 2020 PUGs Facebook group, for 4 years, and we help designers with their everyday 2020 Design questions. 2020 Design Live is a great rendering software for my business needs. I recommend 2020 Design in the Facebook groups I administrate.

Negative: Some of the wood tone cabinetry colors wash out in 2020 live renderings. It's as if there is a slight haze over the renders.

Summary: Overall, I would rate this kitchen design software 5 stars. Its versatility, ease of use, and ability to generate precise measurements and bills of materials make it an excellent tool for any kitchen designer. While it may have some minor flaws, its benefits far outweigh its drawbacks. I would highly recommend this software to any designer looking to create beautiful, functional kitchen designs.

Positive: I recently had the opportunity to use a kitchen design software that impressed me greatly. This software was incredibly user-friendly, with an intuitive interface that made it easy to create and modify kitchen designs. From choosing the layout and dimensions of the kitchen to selecting the materials and finishes, this software offered a wide range of tools and options that made the design process both enjoyable and efficient.

Negative: There were some minor drawbacks to this software. For example, it could be a little slow to load some of the more complex designs, which could be frustrating at times. Additionally, the software's extensive library of materials and finishes could be overwhelming for some users, especially those who are new to design software.

Summary: 2020 Design Live is a great program and we will continue using it. Excited to see what the future updates will bring us!

Positive: High quality renderings, ability to incorporate exact appliances/cabinets/finishes that clients will be using, the look on clients faces when they see the 320 renderings.

Negative: Designs crash more often than we would like if there are a lot of decorative items/customizations in them. The BAK files come in handy for this though. Pricing is ok, but we are only able to use it with one of our cabinet lines.

Summary: It's my main tool all day for my job, it's got good graphics to show your kitchen bath and closet projects.

Positive: I love the program. It is easy to use, fast for a basic kitchen layout. My clients love to see their kitchen and they get so excited for the new project.

Negative: It's a little slow when you want to do a more impressive render. But most of the time you don't need that. I love it.
