DeliveryPoD Mailroom Description
DeliveryPoD Mailroom, an off-the-shelf Tracking System, is used to track inbound mail and parcels within an organisation. It uses a combination barcodes and mobile computers to track every step and provide an audit trail from beginning to end. Email notifications can include a link to the tracking reports so that people can click on it in an email. This will open the latest Tracking Report in their web browser without any keying. Access to these Tracking Reports is free per computer. You can request an email so that the person to whom the item is addressed will receive an email with a link to the website tracking report. To view the most recent information, they can click on the link in their email. This eliminates the need to call the mailroom. This can be set up for all or just one person, so there is an opt-in service.
