CurriculoATS Description

CurriculoATS is an innovative applicant tracking system featuring an AI-driven hiring agent that meticulously evaluates resumes, assigns a comprehensive score ranging from 0 to 100 based on skills and outcomes, and facilitates interview scheduling. Its interface resembles that of Gmail, complete with Internal Notes and Team Discussion channels dedicated to each candidate, enhancing collaboration among team members.

Notable features include:

- AI scoring from 0 to 100 focused on skills rather than mere keywords.
- A Gmail-style inbox with seamless two-way synchronization.
- Dedicated Team Discussion and Internal Notes for each candidate.
- The ability to self-schedule interviews through Google Calendar.
- Customizable pipelines and scoring rubrics.
- Hybrid search capabilities encompassing text, semantic, and entity searches.
- Automation of pipelines, bulk actions, and a REST API for integration.
- Analytical tools to monitor time-to-hire and overall funnel health.
- No per-seat fees, complemented by a free plan option.

This system is particularly beneficial for founders, recruiters, and agencies aiming to hire between 5 to 100 individuals annually and serves as a strong alternative to platforms like Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, BambooHR, and JazzHR. The setup process is remarkably efficient, taking only 15 minutes to complete.

Transparent AI scoring and very strong API integrations

    Date: May 12 2026

Summary: We started using Curriculo ATS because we wanted better visibility into how candidates are evaluated. Compared to other ATS tools we tested, the key difference is that the AI scoring includes reasoning, which helps understand why a candidate is ranked a certain way instead of just seeing a number.

The UI is simple and modern, especially the inbox-style candidate view, which makes day-to-day screening easier for hiring managers.

The main limitations are around more complex scheduling workflows (especially multi-interviewer panels) and some HRIS integrations that are still not fully mature yet.

Overall, it works well for teams that want a lightweight ATS with transparent AI scoring and good API flexibility.

Positive: CurriculoATS provides transparent AI-based candidate evaluation with clear reasoning instead of opaque percentage scores. The integrations with Slack, Google Calendar, Gmail, and webhook/API support are easy to set up and work reliably in daily recruiting workflows.

Negative: Some advanced scheduling features for multi-interviewer panels and certain HR integrations are still limited or in development.
