Summary: The experience with Basecamp has been good and incredible, it continues to add features that are innovative and can offer a new way to work on projects, it never stays the same old program without any good news, on the contrary, it strives to create a very modern platform that looks for the improvement of project management. Basecamp has been able to support our projects and it has allowed us to communicate with each other during the process of all of them, which is why I feel like it is such an amazing software. It is a program that has so many professional tools that are necessary nowadays for the success of a project.

Positive: Basecamp has been able to refine what it means to work on projects. I like that it is so intuitive and the platform feels like you are visiting a very modern and suitable place to start your projects, which is exactly what the program is. It allows for projects to be divided into different categories and create sub-projects in order to be able to manage all the work in a much better way than just working on it without a plan. The dashboard is absolutely amazing and I like how it helps stay on track of all my current assignments and stay focused on what I need to do. Additionally, Basecamp is home for the best communication with the team, it is a software which is incredibly good at managing all the incoming messages from all the members and it centralizes the entire conversation so that it is easy to work on projects with other people.

Negative: There are many things that Basecamp has continuously added to the program to make it better and they continuously improve the functionality of it, but there are some things that they removed in the process that I would love to have again since they worked a lot for me and for the team. One of them is the old monthly calendar, which allowed me to see all the things scheduled properly displayed and this way it allowed me to have a better control of my daily schedule and my day in general. The second thing that I miss is the fact that it used to allow us to store files in the application in a specific place where team members were able to access it in order to complete part of their tasks.

Summary: Basecamp is quite focused on simplicity and ease of project management and that is what I liked about this platform since I had no problems implementing it within my company, I did not even require training to understand how to use it. I did not use this platform nor did I have any difficulty understanding how its tools work. I have been able to effectively keep track of most of my company's projects and I have also been able to work collaboratively without any confusion in the process, this has been the basis of being able to have a good workflow by having a project and task management platform such as Basecamp. I really liked the price for being able to add unlimited users within the platform without having to pay for an extra user, this allowed me to even include clients within Basecamp to be able to integrate them into the tracking of the processes that are executed during development of a project and yes allow you not to miss every aspect and development.

Positive: + I can organize work teams to have them ready for each project that is being created, I can also create teams during the creation of a project and keep track of the assigned tasks within this platform without much navigation. I like that I can have the ability to create teams because it's easier for me to have to take a team specialized in a task and just add them into a project and assign them tasks which they would take care of how they would be organized internally and how They will execute each task, this helps a lot when creating projects and not needing to discuss the roles of each employee a lot.

+ It has been very useful to have the availability function, this has allowed me to be more organized with the staff available in case someone has a set work schedule or is on vacation or on leave to be unavailable. With this I was able to structure myself well when choosing the right team for each of the projects generated with this platform. If I would like it to go further and not only count the hours that it is outside or where it is, I would also like it to mark that it is within a project of a certain hour or more similar functions.

+ I can import any file or document from practically any cloud storage platform, this gave me the ease of not having to upload the file again from my computer but simply syncing the files I have on different platforms. I can even import the files from other project management platforms, which is very useful when you want to move from another site to Basecamp and thus facilitate the export and import process when integrating Basecamp into your company.

+ Another function that I have found very useful is being able to have notification of the entire work process that is carried out within a project, in addition to also being able to see the status of everything that is being done through a sheet within the main panel route I can also receive emails on the status of each task or action that is carried out within the projects. There is also a section of all pending, in progress and finished tasks that has given a broader vision of how the project has progressed and see how much is left to complete or if there is a setback in relation to the final delivery date.

Negative: - Its interface is not very customizable, at most you can choose the user's colors, which are also very basic. There are also no workspaces which are currently used within many platforms to have a better workflow and Basecamp does not have it. So I wish I could have more freedom within this platform and not only have to adapt to what is already established, but also that I can choose how I want to organize myself in my day-to-day life, thus having everything more organized and being able to facilitate daily work .

- There is no time tracker within the projects that are created within Basecamp, it is essential to have this function within this platform and not depend on third parties to be able to track the times of each assigned task. So I don't want to rely on integrations with other platforms to do this job, but I would like it to be included within Basecamp to make the job much easier and not have to jump from platform to platform to do this job.

- The chat should improve, it is very simple to have a conversation, even social networks have more functions and that is not very good for the professional field. To solve this I preferred to use Slack as it allows me better and clear communication without losing the thread of the conversation. Through an automation platform I was able to integrate Slack with Basecamp to maintain a better workflow when managing my projects, otherwise it would not be possible to maintain communication between all the teams or departments since with Basecamp chat it is almost impossible do it right.

- It is not possible to edit documents within this platform and it makes it impossible to work collaboratively on them, at least not in Basecamp because you have to resort to third parties to do this work, however, it is not efficient to do it this way either because you have to have someone in charge to update these documents in each edition or do an automation from an intermediary platform. I didn't like that I have to do a lot of integrations to do something that other project management platforms already have included. Basecamp falls a bit short with several features that make this platform look like a simple project manager for small businesses and not for more professional environments such as medium and large companies.

Summary: Basecamp is the ultimate solution with powerful reporting, task tracking, organizing different projects, and file for project management. It's super easy to onboard, no technical training is required if you used any project management tool in past. Overall it's an amazing tool.

Positive: The best aspect of Basecamp is the ability to organize different projects in the dashboard, getting the status of projects is easy. The user interface is super smooth and clean. Its discussion board helps in making a goal path. Appealing card view of tasks.

Negative: In my 1 year of usage, I haven't found any downside.

Summary: We use Basecamp across different teams to work productively and coordinated with everyone. Its team communication functions work great. Its task reminder comes with a lifesaving feature that keeps you reminded to finish tasks before the deadline.

Positive: The basecamp platform is incredibly simple to learn and adopt. Easy to manage different tasks in one session. Its team chatting hub helps to collaborate with coworkers. You can share files directly from Basecamp instead of switching to a file storage platform. Its To-do task function is very handy.

Negative: Its time-tracking thing is not reliable. Sometimes it freezes and sometimes it shows nil data.

Summary: Overall, I would recommend this platform to anyone looking to improve team efficiency and coordination!

Positive: I love being able to upload videos/documents, have a general communication platform, and have a schedule all within one spot. This has greatly helped with team communication and organization! I will continue to use this platform going forward, as it has really changed how my team run for the better.

Negative: I find it annoying that when entering multiple people in the 'ping' bar, you cannot exit the contact search bar without having to re-type all the names. But besides that, I love using it and the re-typing is really not that big of a deal.

Summary: Would recommend it in a heartbeat! Fantastic, stable product! I also like that it works great on a browser and on mobile.

Positive: Great for project management and To Dos. Simple and easy to use. I also love the message board feature for pitching ideas. Love it.

Negative: It's not really built for synchronous communication so not really a con, but their real time chat is not comparable to other solutions.

Summary: With the Basecamp software we organize our work in the company, in this way we can make a long follow-up of the projects that are being executed, and keep up to date with the progress in the investigations, all in an automated way which gives us more time.

Positive: Basecamp has the ability to integrate with many third-party applications that further promote its use. It has very extensive customization options that allow us to modify the interface to our liking, in order to be more ergonomic and adjusted to each user.

Negative: It is a good idea the mobile application, quite useful for organization, however this tends to present symptoms of slowness after being using it for a while, which hinders the user experience, sometimes I was forced to look for the computer to be able to manage tasks.

Summary: Basecamp keeps all the information coming in and out of the platform organized, and it is easy to know which of the group members has provided certain information, in case corrections need to be made to some parts of that information. Although the software does not implement video calls, it is possible to communicate through a convenient chat tool.

Positive: Work planning documents can be easily shared through Basecamp's dashboard system, and in general all content within these dashboards can be freely segmented or split, demonstrating a platform with a high level of interactivity.

Negative: When wishing to hold any type of meeting within Basecamp, we have found that Basecamp greatly limits the direct communication capacity that can be exercised within the platform, so it has been best to adapt to work through the boards, without immediate interactions between employees.

There is no need to resort to an expert team to be able to manipulate this software, we also have a step by step guide to develop small projects and the idea is to get the most out of this software.

Positive: The interface of this software is very easy to configure as it has a system based on the intuitive design, product and simplicity. It is not necessary to hire an extremely high version to be able to handle this program since it has allowed us to manipulate it with basic knowledge. We can manage through it all the users that we want and also we can include all the clients that we want to carry out each project to develop with each one of them.

Negative: In spite of having a quite simple design to manipulate it does not allow us to personalize it to our taste, that is a great disadvantage since in occasions we must configure the design based on what our company offers to the clients. Sometimes you can not keep the thread of conversation between client and consultant, we can not make separate comments section. It can be very basic for the development of some projects.

Summary: The projects in Basecamp take a totally different course, since this is a platform that provides a real-time visualization of the progress of each project, and makes its organization more effective.
