Description

The robust security measures, including One-Time Passwords (OTP) and Unique Links, provide exceptional protection for the election process. The combination of a special key and password safeguards the organization's login for election setup, ensuring top-notch encryption. Voters will receive a specifically generated unique link via Email or Phone to cast their votes, which will only be active during the polling period, making it impossible to reuse or duplicate. Additionally, an OTP will be generated in real-time and sent to the voter's Mobile or Email at the moment of voting, reinforcing the security of the ballot and thwarting any unauthorized access, even if an email account is compromised. The voting information is encrypted using SHA2-512-bit, ensuring that it remains secure and cannot be linked back to any individual voter, thus maintaining the confidentiality of the voting process. This method not only guarantees the integrity of each vote but also simplifies the election process while significantly reducing costs for the organization. Overall, this efficient and budget-friendly approach makes conducting elections both straightforward and economical, benefiting the organization greatly.

Description

When users report a sponsor occurrence through the extension, it cleverly utilizes a privacy-focused query system to automatically bypass known sponsors. Additionally, it offers functionality to skip other content types, including intros, outros, and subscription reminders, allowing users to jump directly to highlighted segments. To ensure that a single heavily voted submission doesn't dominate, I implemented a weighted random distribution based on a specific formula, which prioritizes early votes significantly more than those on submissions that are already popular. This approach enhances the likelihood that newer submissions will be presented to users for voting, promoting a diverse range of content visibility. As a result, while the majority of users encounter the top-rated submissions, a select few will be exposed to less popular entries, giving those submissions an opportunity for upvotes or downvotes. This method not only democratizes the voting process but also encourages engagement with a variety of content.
