Users can submit information when a sponsor occurs from the extension. The extension will automatically skip sponsors it knows about by using a privacy-preserving question system. It supports skipping other categories such as intros and outros, reminders to subscribe, or skipping to the point using highlight. To ensure that a submission with many votes cannot be replaced, I used a weighted random distribution. It is based on the equation to the right. This formula makes it so that the first few votes are more important than votes on a submission with a lot of votes. This increases the chances of newly submitted segments being sent to users for votes. This means that most users will submit the best submissions, but some users will receive lower votes submissions to be upvoted.
