The system commenced its operations with the Forest Registry and Silviculture modules, and by 2010, the Harvest, Transportation, and Wood Yard modules were also integrated. In early 2011, Land Management and GIS modules were incorporated, while the Nursery, Demands, and Land Management modules are in the final stages of development. Additionally, in 2012, the INFLOR team plans to implement the Depletion module. BSC opted for the INFLOR SGF system primarily due to its seamless compatibility with SAP and the advantage of having a single supplier for their forest system needs. Data mapping for the plots is accomplished using tools designed for data recovery, which aids in registering, validating, and disseminating information within the geographic database and ERP. The system facilitates harvest control by allowing the programming and definition of harvested areas, assigning teams for the tasks, collecting biometrics from the harvest supervisor, and generating comprehensive reports detailing the presence and performance of each individual involved in the process. This integration not only enhances operational efficiency but also improves accountability within the organization.

Langihaldus, available at lank.ee, is a web-based software solution that offers a comprehensive view of forest material both on-site and at the forest boundary. It enables users to input and track the quantities of timber that have been harvested and transported, along with the capability to generate electronic waybills. This application is accessible on any device with internet connectivity and facilitates timber transportation across Estonia and Latvia. Users can maintain a constant overview of timber movement, including the amounts that are cut, transported, and removed. Additionally, it features an energy wood warehouse function, allowing for the monitoring of stock levels for branches and trunks while also enabling the organization of wood chip transportation. The application includes an interactive map that provides links and destinations specific to the user’s needs, as well as the ability to view partners' routes and destinations. This map layer is equipped to display details regarding seasonal forest transport and weight limitations. Furthermore, drivers can create electronic consignment notes with data auto-filled for convenience, and each timber assortment can be assigned to specific destinations for transport. Overall, Langihaldus streamlines forest management and transportation processes, enhancing efficiency and oversight in the timber industry.
