Description
WACUP is designed to capture the essence of your favorite legacy media players while propelling them into the modern era. Pronounced as "wakeup," "wac-up," or in any way that feels comfortable to you, this innovative media player embodies my vision of an ideal playback experience while maintaining compatibility with plugins from well-known media players you already appreciate. My objective is to integrate bug fixes, enhance existing functionalities, and introduce exciting new features, ultimately working towards establishing WACUP as a highly versatile standalone media player. Built around a robust plugin architecture, WACUP allows users to customize their experience to suit individual preferences effortlessly. Once it transitions beyond the preview phase, an SDK will be made available to enable developers to create new plugins that can enhance the player even further. Moreover, WACUP will be freely available for download and usage, ensuring accessibility for all users. By participating in the WACUP beta testing program, you will play a vital role in refining the software, helping to prepare it for a broader audience while contributing to its development journey. This collaborative effort will not only enhance the player but also foster a vibrant community of enthusiasts.
