Description

SADFinder is a macOS file management application designed to enhance speedy and efficient file handling. It features a dual-pane layout along with persistent tabs, an editable path bar, and instant folder filtering, while also allowing users to cut and paste files across tabs, manage Desktop files precisely, and utilize keyboard shortcuts for window snapping in the active application. The functionalities include using Enter to open items, Backspace to navigate to the parent directory, Delete to send files to Trash, Cmd+R for renaming, and Cmd+L to highlight the path bar. Developed with SwiftUI specifically for macOS 15 and later versions, SADFinder is compatible with both Apple Silicon and Intel-based Macs, avoiding the need for an Electron shell. Importantly, file names, paths, contents, and folder structures are retained locally on the Mac, and optional crash reporting is disabled by default. Users can explore a 7-day free trial, after which subscription options include $5 per month, $29 annually, or a one-time fee of $49 for lifetime access across three Macs, making it a flexible choice for different user needs. This pricing model ensures that users have options that fit their budget while benefiting from a robust file management solution.
