Description
OpenText Core Endpoint Backup provides a robust and automated solution for data protection tailored for modern distributed workforces by ensuring the safety of Windows and macOS endpoints, irrespective of geographical challenges or intricate network designs. It consolidates backup administration within a unified interface, facilitating forever-incremental snapshots and offering versatile restoration alternatives, such as point-in-time recovery for both individual devices and entire groups of endpoints. Featuring top-tier security measures, including AES 256-bit and RSA-4096 encryption alongside proprietary key management techniques, the solution guarantees data remains secure during transfer and while stored. Additionally, its integrated deduplication enhances storage efficiency, making it a practical choice for organizations. Administrators enjoy simplified deployment and policy governance across all levels of the organization, no matter the size or configuration, while also being able to utilize geolocation tracking and remote-wipe functions to protect data on devices that may be lost or compromised. This comprehensive approach not only enhances data security but also supports organizational resilience in a constantly evolving digital landscape.
Description
WipeCert is a specialized data erasure tool designed for managed service providers, IT asset disposition firms, and internal IT departments. It securely wipes data from HDDs, SSDs, and NVMe drives in accordance with the NIST 800-88 Clear or Purge standards, as well as the DoD 5220.22-M guidelines, automatically selecting the appropriate method for each drive and requiring operator confirmation before execution.
Upon completion of each wipe, a certificate is generated that is signed with an Ed25519 key and includes a QR code, which can be verified at wipecert.com without the need for an account. For devices running Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS that are managed via Microsoft Intune, WipeCert can initiate an Intune MDM wipe and provide a certificate that indicates compliance with either NIST 800-88 Purge or Clear, depending on the encryption status reported by the device. It’s important to note that this is an Intune MDM wipe, not a direct erasure performed by WipeCert software on the device itself.
The platform features a dashboard that allows users to monitor device status, view live job progress, and maintain a comprehensive audit log. Users who opt for professional plans and above gain access to REST API and webhooks, while business plans and higher include PXE network boot capabilities and customizable branded certificates. Subscription plans begin at $79 per month, offering a 14-day trial that includes two wipes with no credit card required. Additionally, this flexible pricing structure makes it accessible for various organizations looking to ensure data security and compliance.
