Description
NOX is a cutting-edge, standalone renderer that offers physical accuracy and is completely free to use. Its rendering engine employs unbiased techniques, utilizing either Path Tracing or Bidirectional Path Tracing for global illumination analysis. Although the simulation of light adheres to physical principles, some simplifications are made for practicality. NOX provides a range of post-production capabilities within its interface, eliminating the need for external software. It supports scenes that are generated and imported from popular applications such as 3ds Max, Blender, and Cinema4D. Recognized as one of the most feature-rich renderers available, NOX remains in its beta development phase, continually evolving and adding new functionalities. To optimize your rendering experience with NOX, understanding its rendering philosophy is essential, and consulting the User Guide is highly recommended. The current guide encompasses features from version 0.3.39, and given the significant advancements made since that release, an updated User Guide is expected to be available in autumn 2013. This ongoing improvement highlights the commitment to refining and enhancing the software for its users.
Description
ProRender Cloud serves as a cloud-based GPU rendering solution for Blender, enabling 3D artists and production teams to leverage remote GPU resources instead of handling their own rendering hardware. The integrated Blender add-on conveniently packages the project along with all its linked assets, uploads the rendering job, and allows users to choose from different GPU pools while monitoring the rendering progress; additionally, users can oversee their projects via a cloud-based dashboard. The service features various GPU options such as Lowpool with RTX 4090 GPUs, Highpool with RTX 5090 GPUs, and Maxpool equipped with RTX PRO 6000 GPUs specifically designed for Blender Cycles tasks. By distributing rendering workloads among cloud-based GPU workers, ProRender Cloud ensures that users can easily download their completed image sequences, which may include formats like PNG or OpenEXR, directly from their accounts. Billing is designed to be straightforward, with costs calculated based on both the duration of rendering and the number of GPU nodes utilized, incorporating per-second fees and set price limits for each pool. Targeting independent artists, freelancers, animation studios, agencies, and various teams involved in Blender projects, this service caters to a wide array of client production needs, streamlining the rendering process for everyone involved. This innovative approach not only enhances efficiency but also allows for greater flexibility in managing rendering tasks across diverse projects.
