Gaffa Description

Gaffa is a REST API built for web scraping and browser automation, allowing developers to run real, full browsers at scale with a single API call. It removes the difficulty of managing headless browser frameworks, rotating proxies, CAPTCHA solving, and scaling infrastructure, all of which are handled automatically.

JavaScript-heavy and dynamic websites render exactly as they would for a human visitor by default. Beyond standard scraping, Gaffa supports AI-driven structured data extraction (extract data into a defined schema without writing CSS selectors), screenshot and PDF capture, infinite-scroll and form-filling automation, and clean Markdown conversion for feeding webpages directly into LLM and RAG pipelines.

A rotating residential proxy network keeps access reliable across regions, and a credit-based pricing model means teams pay only for the browser time and bandwidth they actually use. Gaffa is designed for AI engineers, data teams, and developers who want production-grade web data extraction without having to build and maintain their own infrastructure.

Pricing

Pricing Starts At:
$20 per 5000 credits
Pricing Information:
Gaffa uses a simple credit-based pricing model. Plans start at $20 for 5,000 credits, with no subscription lock-in. Credits cover both browser execution time (1 credit per 30 seconds of runtime) and residential proxy bandwidth (750 credits per GB). A typical browser session, combining short execution time with low proxy bandwidth costs, costs around 3 credits, so 5,000 credits covers roughly 1,600+ typical sessions. All new accounts also receive 500 free credits to get started, no credit card required.

    Served our purpose perfectly

    Date: Jun 29 2026

Summary: If you're looking for a non-bloated and reliable web scraper, capable of accessing web pages that other tools (e.g. AI) are blocked by, Gaffa makes this simple. Compared to other web scraping tools it's a dream to setup and use.

Positive: Super reliable and straightforward tool. Refined set of features and clear documentation. Our setup couldn't have been much faster and we've not had any issues with the tool in over a year!

Negative: There's nothing particular to note so far and I believe the product is continuously improved

    So easy to use

    Date: Apr 30 2026

Summary: Gaffa is a really solid service. Itโ€™s easy to get started, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. The tools are flexible, which saved us quite a bit of time.

What stood out most was how smooth the overall experience isโ€”from setup through to actually using it day-to-day. It feels reliable, and the interface makes it easy to see whatโ€™s going on without digging around. Definitely a good option if you want something that just works without a steep learning curve and clear value for money.

Positive: Our system was using a more expensive competing product, but Gaffa made the transition simple and seamless. We are primarily using it to print PDF reports from our site, but plan to expand its use to other parts of our product and processes.

Negative: What's not to like? Our use case may not be the most complicated, but it just works!

    Versatile and easy to use

    Date: Apr 28 2026

Summary: Really good experience! I'd always found scraping a pain, but this made it much easier. Definitely worth the cost.

Positive: Very easy to get going! Really expressive API. Saved me a lot of time and allowed me to do just what I needed in terms of interacting with sites and getting data back in the right way. Also the dashboard where you can see your previous requests is really useful when debugging!

Negative: I needed to use the residential proxies for some of the sites I wanted to interact with, and those are quite expensive.
