Description
Materials 4D is an innovative graphical on-screen takeoff system designed specifically for contractors, seamlessly merging easy data entry with versatile reporting to enhance the speed at which you can estimate construction materials. It allows you to import planning data from Sitework 4D or manually input information from TIF, PDF, or CAD files, enabling the system to calculate areas, lengths, and quantities, which are then converted into measurements such as yards of concrete, tons of asphalt, lengths of guard rail, and counts for lighting fixtures and other cost-related items. Furthermore, Materials 4D provides detailed reports and the ability to export spreadsheet data categorized by structure, material, and construction phase, while also creating thorough geo-referenced graphical reports that can be shared via email in PDF format, visualized on Google Earth, or accessed on-site through your iPhone or Android device. With personalized, expert training from AGTEK, you can master the functionalities of Materials 4D in just a few hours, ensuring that you leverage its full potential in your projects. This training aims to equip you with practical skills that directly enhance your efficiency and accuracy in estimating.
Description
PAVER is a pavement maintenance management system that emerged in the late 1970s to aid the Department of Defense (DOD) in overseeing the upkeep and repair of its vast pavement assets. By leveraging inspection data alongside a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) that ranges from zero (indicating failure) to 100 (indicating excellent condition), it effectively captures pavement statuses and forecasts future maintenance and repair requirements. The PCI for airport pavements was formalized as an ASTM standard in 1993 (D5340-10), and similarly for roads and parking lots in 1999 (D6433-09). PAVER™ conducts various analyses to ensure the effective distribution of maintenance and repair resources. The system's development has received backing from organizations such as the US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, Federal Aviation Administration, and Federal Highway Administration, emphasizing its importance. Furthermore, Colorado State University provides training and technology support services for non-DOD users, enhancing its accessibility. During inspections of concrete pavements, the software also enables users to create graphical representations of individual concrete panels, thus improving clarity in reporting findings. Overall, PAVER plays a crucial role in maintaining pavement quality and ensuring efficient resource utilization across various sectors.
