Furthermore, all Mirsal email records are retained by the client’s employees or other authorized users who utilize the electronic messaging services provided by I-SOFT, ensuring that communication remains secure and organized. These measures promote a reliable framework for effective correspondence within the client’s operations.
Description
The OpenText Core Email Continuity solution guarantees uninterrupted email access even if the primary mail system fails, by seamlessly redirecting communications to a secure web portal or Outlook using POP/IMAP, thus allowing users to read, reply, forward, compose, and send emails as if there were no outage. It retains up to 30 days of incoming messages, ensuring that recent email exchanges are safeguarded. In the event of a mail server failure, incoming emails are temporarily held at the spam filter, while users are automatically routed to the continuity service; once the primary server is operational again, all email activities (including sent messages, replies, forwards, and new entries) synchronize back to the main inbox, maintaining a seamless experience. The system does not require any extra hardware, is auto-provisioned through a central portal, and operates in the background until needed, thus offering a hassle-free solution. Users can access their email from any device, anywhere, utilizing either the web interface or standard email applications without any disruption to their workflow. This flexibility and reliability make it an invaluable tool for organizations looking to ensure constant email communication.
