Description
MAXScribe, created by Stenograph, offers a comprehensive platform tailored for digital court reporters and transcriptionists, featuring multi-channel audio capture, instantaneous translation through the Phoenix Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology, and sophisticated editing capabilities all in one system. It accommodates up to 50 audio channels, making it ideal for smooth recording in remote or hybrid environments, particularly when used in conjunction with tools like CaseTestify. The system leverages Stenograph's proprietary ASR engine for near real-time translation of speech into text, significantly boosting efficiency and allowing for services like immediate readback and same-day rough drafts. Additionally, it enables multiple users to collaboratively edit transcripts at the same time, providing real-time updates that streamline the production workflow. Clients benefit from interactive and immediate access to transcripts, which enhances their involvement during court proceedings, and the platform's user-friendly interface ensures that users can easily navigate its features. This holistic approach not only enhances the transcription process but also fosters a more engaging experience for all parties involved.
Description
Stenobox serves as an alternative to MaxScribe for digital and electronic court reporters along with legal transcriptionists. By uploading audio from court proceedings or depositions, Stenobox generates a formatted draft of the transcript that includes verbatim dialogue, speaker identification, and proper court date and case formatting, along with headers for examinations and features for interpreter management. Instead of starting from a blank page, users receive a nearly complete draft which they can review against the original audio before certifying it as the official record. The platform primarily focuses on producing the transcripts while allowing users to verify their accuracy without the need to retype everything. Additionally, there is a built-in review mechanism that highlights areas that may require attention, and clicking on any word directly plays back that moment from the recording for easy cross-referencing. For a flat fee of $99 per month, users can access unlimited transcripts without incurring per-minute charges, and a 7-day trial is offered for new users to explore the service. The subscription operates on a month-to-month basis, allowing users to cancel whenever they wish. Uploaded audio is automatically deleted after 30 days unless users opt to retain it until they manually delete it, and the recordings are never repurposed for creating any other products. This ensures the privacy and integrity of the user's files throughout their experience with Stenobox.
