Description

LensNote is designed to transform recorded lectures, meetings, and lengthy videos into visual notes for easier comprehension. Users can upload audio or video files directly through the web application or capture a window on macOS. The application effectively recognizes individual slides and key frames, correlates them with timestamps and the corresponding transcript, and generates a concise message for each visual representation. Each session offers searchable transcripts, summaries, action items, and organized reports, allowing users to navigate directly from a slide or a specific line in the transcript to the corresponding moment in the recording. Users can export slides in PPTX format, create reports in PDF or Word, and save transcripts as TXT files, or simply share a read-only link with others. There’s no need for a meeting bot to utilize its features. The app is accessible on the web and requires macOS 14 or later, offering a 14-day trial period along with a Pro subscription priced at $30 per month. This innovative tool is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their note-taking experience and streamline information retrieval.

Description

Talat is an intuitive app designed for transcribing meetings and taking notes, available on both macOS and Windows platforms. It effectively captures audio from both the microphone and the system, providing real-time transcription of spoken words, recognizing different speakers, and generating searchable transcripts, summaries, action items, and separate chapters. Users have the ability to modify transcripts, look up previous meetings, import audio or video files, and even dictate text for use in other applications. With integration to calendars, users can prepare for upcoming meetings, and the app can automatically initiate recording for compatible conferencing tools. By default, meetings and their transcripts are processed and saved locally, though users have the option to connect to cloud-based language models, enabling sync features, webhooks, or MCP-compatible assistants that might transfer certain data off the device. Additionally, Talat supports exporting notes in Markdown and PDF formats, making it versatile for various documentation needs. This multifaceted application streamlines the note-taking process and enhances productivity for users who frequently engage in meetings.
