Description
Labman provided a versatile three-part system designed for a major global coatings manufacturer, enabling the production and evaluation of development samples of coatings. The preparation module utilizes liquid raw materials to create more than 100 samples daily, with the user controlling the order of material additions. Once prepared, these samples can be transferred to the application module, where the coatings are applied to substrates using BYK Bird Bar film applicators. A non-contact spectrophotometer captures wet color and opacity measurements, while this module is also equipped with tools for assessing tinter compatibility, rheology, and film thickness. In just one day, the application module is capable of producing 400 films. Once these films have cured, they can be further analyzed using the analysis module, which includes a standard contact spectrophotometer, a balance for weighing, and a laser profilometer to measure thickness and optical properties. This comprehensive module also processes 400 applied films each day, ensuring thorough examination of the coated samples. The entire system streamlines the development process, enhancing efficiency and precision in coating formulation and testing.
Description
The health care sector today encounters significant hurdles that are quite challenging. Off-the-shelf software often fails to cater to the specific needs that arise in this field. Mediware's Hospital Information System (HIS) presents a robust collection of software tools designed to efficiently handle unstructured data and chaotic processes across various hospital departments. With the adoption of Mediware, achieving a completely paperless and film-less hospital setting is now feasible. This solution serves as an all-encompassing resource for healthcare enterprises, delivering extensive functionalities to manage both clinical and business operations effectively. Service quality is frequently assessed through metrics such as waiting and treatment times. To enhance outpatient management, Mediware’s OP Management module introduces automated workflows that streamline processes, ultimately minimizing wait times and increasing overall efficiency. Additionally, it features a centralized appointment system utilizing time slots or token numbers to optimize scheduling. With these advancements, healthcare providers can focus more on patient care rather than administrative burdens.
