Inktica serves as a versatile pixel-art and texture editing application designed for crafting low-resolution visuals, animated characters, and game assets directly on mobile devices. The app features an array of drawing tools, including a brush that offers pixel-perfect line capabilities, an eraser, fill options, gradients, lines, shapes, and color-picking features, along with selection tools to copy, move, rotate, and flip art as needed. With layers to streamline project organization, it also incorporates frame-by-frame animation and onion skinning, which are essential for smooth sprite creation workflows. Users can utilize palettes reminiscent of classic consoles, import palettes from Lospec, and open reference images while they draw, enhancing their creative process. In addition, Inktica supports the importation of Aseprite project files and allows for the export of completed projects in various formats, including images, animations, videos, and sprite sheets for easy sharing or storage. This tool is particularly designed for pixel artists and game developers aiming to create retro-inspired graphics, sprites, and textures, making it a valuable asset in the realm of mobile game design. Ultimately, Inktica combines powerful features with user-friendly functionality, catering to both amateurs and seasoned professionals in the pixel art community.
Description
This Anime Does Not Exist is a platform that generates anime images using artificial intelligence. With the capability to create countless images, this platform also allows for the development of videos and animated GIFs from those images. The main technique employed is known as interpolation video, which involves moving through the latent variables frame by frame to create smooth transitions between various samples. Adjusting the creativity values prompts the AI to generate more imaginative and intricate visuals, though this can sometimes result in outputs that are chaotic and strange. While the model often produces text that appears to be in Japanese, a closer look reveals that it is not actually readable; the characters bear a resemblance to those in Japanese scripts but deviate just enough to create an unsettling sense of the uncanny. Occasionally, the output may be so abstract that it results in an aesthetically pleasing image that bears little resemblance to the intended subject. The blend of familiar and foreign elements contributes to a unique viewing experience that leaves one intrigued yet puzzled.
