Summary: The Secure Eraser is a very good tool to help you to clean old HDDs and keeps your privacy safe. You can erase from low to very high via different option to choose from and after you start it, it`s making the job while you can do other things, gaming, sleeping, whatever, the secure eraser works!

Positive: I really like how easy it is to work with th e tool, it comes with very nice option to clean your HDDs.

Negative: None I found for now. I really can't say I had any problems with it, easy to use and so I don't know what to write here.

Summary: I would even buy it if necessary, but private mode is free. The various options in main mode leave nothing to be desired, even if you should plan quite a bit of time for some of them.

Summary: I've used this for less than 6 months, technically just a very short time using this, but I am impressed with it - almost immediately I was able to get to use this!

Positive: I found the application easy to use, as I needed to securely wipe some old drives I'm not using anymore. I did not want to worry about security.

Negative: Nothing serious, but it does take some time to run a deletion; that being said, I suppose it's a small issue as it is doing it's job! So not a real "CON" perhaps!

Summary: It's been keeping my PC running and clean for years now. I have recommended it to many colleagues and friends over this time; it is reasonably priced and regularly updated. Questions are answered promptly, competently, and in a friendly manner. Renewal is announced in time and done seamlessly

Positive: I'm using Secure Eraser since 2015; this should actually say everything about the usefulness and reliability of the product!

In summary, a most excellent program for maintaining my computer privacy and security.

Positive: The software is easy to use and includes a detailed help file that clearly explains all operating features of the program. I like that fact that Secure Eraser will permanently and irretrievably delete sensitive files/folders/drives and free space. The program is able to delete data with a choice of five levels of overwriting: these range from low up to 35 times! I found the method of overwriting files 3 or 7 times to be the most useful.
The option for secure deletion of free space is particularly welcome with regard to the irretrievable deletion of files that were not securely deleted previously.
I regularly used the Registry cleaning feature with no problems and the System Cleaning is a useful aspect of Secure Eraser that will delete temporary internet files, browsing history, cookies, and download details from browsers along with recent documents and recycle bin files in Windows itself.

Negative: I really cannot fault the program in any way!
It would be beneficial for the System cleaning feature to include the option of deleting unwanted files from the Brave and Opera browsers.

Summary: I find this software the perfect solution for deleting and documenting sensitive files. It's a perfect complement to file management.

Positive: The simplicity and functionality of this software makes it easy to track data destruction and generate reports for data vendors.

Negative: Nothing, it works great! All algorithms work and I can't think of anything that's not to like.

Summary: Excellent product that meets all my needs. Runs fast and efficiently. Updates come as needed for free.

Positive: Secure Eraser is just that. Very easy to use and customize. Many algorithms to choose from that completely remove all traces of erased data. Pricing is fair and reasonable. I highly recommend the advanced version.

Negative: I have not come across any negative features or problems with this software.

I have never had any problems with it. In fact, my experience with it led to me purchasing other software products from the Ascomp range.

Negative: I honestly do not have any cons that I can point out, for my use of the product. It fits the bill for me.
