Description
At times, trusting new ideas requires firsthand experience. You create a project and witness the transformation of an abstract concept into a tangible product. However, what happens if, upon completion, the outcome diverges from your initial vision? By engaging with your creation during the building phase, you may uncover discrepancies, imperfections, or mistakes that were not apparent in the original designs until you physically interacted with it. At this juncture, what you've crafted may feel like a failure, as making design modifications could delay your timeline by weeks or even months, and expenses will likely soar if alterations are possible at this stage. If redesigning isn’t feasible, you might find yourself facing the difficult decision of launching a product that falls short of excellence or has inherent flaws. In this context, immersive Virtual Reality offers a solution, allowing you to navigate your product in a realistic 1:1 scale environment, enabling you to examine it closely, access necessary tools, and engage with your innovative concepts as they would function in real life, ensuring a more thorough evaluation before finalization.
Description
ShapesXR provides an innovative and user-friendly suite of tools that simplifies 3D creation. Users can begin with simple brush strokes or tap into a vast collection of primitive shapes, easily modify their colors and textures, integrate text, and gradually construct intricate designs and environments using a flexible and accurate snapping feature. Built with collaboration at its core, ShapesXR makes it effortless to invite colleagues into virtual reality by sharing a space code, enabling real-time ideation and co-creation, or allowing users to spatially review their designs as if they were physically present. The platform accommodates a diverse range of 2D and 3D formats, including JPG, PNG, OBJ, GLB, and glTF, in addition to Figma frames and components, all synchronized through a convenient plugin. Users can also manage and import their assets directly from the web app using a browser interface. Once satisfied with their creations, users have the option to capture images or export their work in glTF format or directly into Unity, enhancing the overall workflow. The versatility of ShapesXR makes it an essential tool for designers looking to explore the possibilities of 3D collaboration and creation.
