Microsoft 365 deployments can include a variety of complex components such as Teams, SharePoint and Exchange. Although it is unlikely, failure can not be ruled out.
It is difficult to keep track of the entire deployment because of the interdependence between M365 elements. Your Microsoft 365 Service Health Dashboard in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center may show no issues, but users send tickets claiming they are having trouble logging into their SharePoint.
