Description
GitTree is a graphical Git client designed for developers using macOS, Windows, or Linux. It facilitates commit management with features such as a commit graph, a diff viewer, and the ability to stage changes at the file, hunk, and line levels; additionally, it offers various branch management tools like merging, interactive rebasing, conflict resolution, and stashing, as well as support for worktrees, submodules, and Git LFS. Users can view worktree cards that display branches and alterations, while the Resume and Attention features assist in revisiting checkouts and identifying blocked tasks. The Lost & Found option allows for the recovery of commits that lack branch references, and the What Changed feature enables users to compare the states of branches across historical changes, with local secret warnings that alert about potential credentials before committing or pushing changes. The Free plan provides access to local Git functionalities for both private and commercial repositories, while the Pro version enhances capabilities by integrating connected accounts from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, supporting pull requests and CI/CD; it also offers Repo Insights, AI drafting, and Nour, which works alongside a coding-agent CLI that the user must install. Overall, GitTree is tailored to streamline and enhance the Git workflow for developers, making version control more efficient and user-friendly.
