Description
LexWorkplace is a cloud-based legal DMS that brings matter-centric structure to documents and email so case work stays complete and discoverable. Built for firms of 5–50 users, it organizes documents, email, and attachments by matter, integrates with Microsoft 365 and Outlook, and works on Mac and Windows.
Outlook email management includes Smart File for automatic matter suggestions and Multi Select for bulk filing; attachments store with the matter record. Search spans documents and email using full-text/OCR with filters for matter, type, author, and date. Version history, compare, and check-in/check-out preserve an audit-ready trail and prevent conflicts during collaboration. Governance features include role-based permissions, audit trails, and secure external sharing to control access and track activity. AI is available to authorized users to summarize long documents, answer content questions, and assist with drafting using firm-controlled data.
