TPSClear addresses a crucial issue in the UK concerning the necessity of obtaining consent before calling numbers on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) or Corporate TPS (CTPS) registries, as failing to do so constitutes a breach of PECR regulations, with potential fines from the ICO reaching up to GBP 17.5 million or 4% of global revenue starting from February 5, 2026. Unlike many teams that either do not screen numbers or rely on uploading CSV files to an external bureau and then waiting, TPSClear integrates directly within the CRM system, allowing for immediate verification; as soon as a phone number is added or modified in a HubSpot contact or Zoho CRM lead, the result is promptly recorded. Additionally, every number undergoes a re-screening process every 28 days following its last assessment, and a routine daily sweep identifies any numbers that have been imported or bulk-edited. The outcome of this screening process is stored in a standard CRM field, making it compatible with various features including list filters, workflow branches, sequence enrollment, and reporting, akin to any other data field. Each contact record often contains multiple phone numbers, allowing for individual results per field; for instance, a mobile number may be clear while a direct line may be listed on the TPS.
