The Easy Acquisition™ software suite serves as the foundational measuring and Statistical Process Control (SPC) tool from Marposs, designed to operate within Microsoft Excel® and tailored for straightforward manual tasks that involve both static and dynamically driven data collection at a maximum rate of 40 samples per second. This software facilitates the gathering of measurement data from a variety of Marposs display units including the E4N and Quick Read, as well as interface units like Easy Box™, DigiCrown, GagePod, U-Com, and wireless gauges from the Wave series, along with Quick Digit Bluetooth indicators and compatible third-party serial devices. Users can create and visualize measurements alongside tolerance values and status indicators, while also conducting basic statistical analyses on the gathered data, which includes generating histograms, sample value charts, and X&R charts. Additionally, the application allows for the configuration of multiple drivers to accommodate different devices, enhancing its versatility. The Formula Wizard feature streamlines the programming of measurement formulas by helping users specify the types of measurements to be performed and the corresponding sensors to be utilized. Furthermore, Easy Acquisition™ software automatically generates SPC reports, thereby making the process of quality control more efficient and user-friendly. Description
SPC stands for “Statistical Process Control,” a method that has gained significant traction since the mid-1980s, particularly within the American automotive sector. In French, this technique is referred to as “Contrôle Statistique des Processus” (SPM). The primary aim of SPC is to minimize scrap and rework rates through effective quality control of ongoing production, coupled with sampling methods, thereby anticipating issues related to non-quality. Utilizing SPC software allows for the real-time monitoring of processes and sends alerts if control limits are breached. © Infodream. Among the notifications generated are warnings about overruns of control limits, which are more stringent than tolerance limits, as well as indications of trends that suggest process degradation.
