Since its inception in 2011, this platform has enabled dealers, collectors with Curios & Relics (C&R) licenses, manufacturers, and importers to document over a million firearm transactions through an electronic acquisition and disposition (A&D) bound book. Firearms are entered into the system using barcode scanning, while the exit process involves completing the ATF Form 4473 on a computer or tablet, with the NICS response meticulously documented on the form. Businesses have the flexibility to maintain distinct logs for different purposes such as consignment, gunsmithing, pawn, or NFA items.
